This is a decent price for the (in my opinion) best smokeless fuel if you need a large amount to get you through the winter (and may be longer). Yes, there are cheaper options for lower quality smokeless fuel, but i've found those ones to leave lots of ash, have less heat output and need topping up more frequently. The ovals are larger than standard homefire smokeless.
Here's the blub from the sellers website:
One of our most popular smokeless fuels
, Homefire Ovals is a great fuel for multi-fuel stoves
and open fires.
- Lasts up to 40% longer than house coal
- Generates up to 30% more heat
- Produces up to 80% less smoke
These slow burning smokeless coal ovals
pack together tightly in the grate, providing maximum heat output, and producing minimal waste. It’s not unusual for a Homefire Ovals
last for up to nine hours.
Can't vouch for 9 hours of decent heat in my 12kw burner, but there's usually enough heat left to get the fire going again in the morning with just a few bits of kindling and then some more ovals.

Normally homefire ovals are £12.50 upwards per 25kg bag, so less than a tenner a bag delivered seemed like a decent saving worth posting in case it was useful to anyone else.
Note: These are the large 25kg bags, not the 10kg ones you get at B&Q (which would be around £540 for the same amount, even with the current 3 for 2 offer)
