This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

This port is available at Aldi only in regards to supermarkets.

they generally only stock it at Xmas. Sometimes they retail it for £60.

It’s a 40 year old tawny port which apparently has won awards of the gold variety this year. All the reviews I have read have been very good/excellent.

I have bought it for the last three years.

the taste is different league to any short drink I have tasted before. Strangely I don’t drink wine.

this product is for sale at the following outlets:

Portugal vineyards £76.74 on offer.

Vintage wine and port £64.95 (out of stock)

Winwbuyers.com £65.54 on offer. ( Currently n/a)

Seems like Aldi have a strong hold on the product.

it’s been on here before, last year I think.

its still expensive for “a port” however for the right persons, orsomeone who is willing to try something different, it might just blow you away.

they used to sell it in a nice wooden casket. But you have to slum it now.

Tasting Notes:
Mid-tawny. Clementine, walnut and mocha aromas. Sweet walnuts and earth spices.
Rich mouthful finish, almost dry.

Happy Christmas.

Elvis.

Cool. I’m very keen to hear what you like please. That might be better.

thank you.
Much prefer Graham’s 20 year old tawny port much better depth of flavour. I thought the Aldi port was smooth but a bit lacking, can get better elsewhere

Not quite sure why this is a deal.... this is just the RRP. Are there online retailers in other countries selling previous years releases for more, yes, but that doesn't matter. Dont think it is particularly cheap for a 40year old tawny. In a few weeks when it is reduced to 25quid a bottle it will be a deal. But not now.

Some drinkers prefer the 20 year as being a better balance between age & youth, as 40 year old tawneys go though it's very passable.

Graham's 20 year is excellent. Ocado have it on special as well

Sounds like your making assumptions.

im confident it will not be cheaper than the current price at any stage.
the Aldi normal price is £60.
sounds like a deal to me.
Aldi forgetting their raison d'être once again.
It's never been £60 in Aldi. No idea where you have got that price from - £34.99 is the price in their Christmas catalogue (page 46).

As with other seasonal items, you may get lucky and find some left-over stock reduced in your local store in the new year.

Dont take this so seriously. I appreciate you think this is a deal (but dont know where you get the 60quid price from, it has always been 35quid and in 2017 it was 30quid) but it isnt that cheap for a tawny of this quality. Good value maybe, but not a deal.
