First deal, so please be gentle! Price when bought separately £859.

I've got a lot of this gear, and it's pretty good for the home mechanic or even in the workplace(mine has stood up to years of use). It's the industrial roller cabinet, which is somewhat better quality than their professional/advanced series.

Lifetime replacement warrany on the majority of the tools - I think it generally only excludes ratchets but check to satisfy yourself.

Only £400 with a trade card, which can be obtained in store if you can prove you work in a motor vehicle or engineering trade, or can take in a suitable certificate for qualifications.

What’s included?
3pc Adjustable Wrench Set
22 Piece Screwdriver and Hex Key Set
4 Piece Plier Set
26 Piece Socket Set 1/2”
8 Piece Tool Set
12 Piece Combination Spanners Set
31 Piece Socket Set 3/8”
44 Piece Socket Set 1/4”
18pc Impact Socket Set
36pc Bit Socket Set
8pc Offset Spanner Set
10pc Extension Bar Set

bargain heat from me
I thought it was a great price, all in all. Not sure why so many cold voters, I guess either I'm used to paying much more money or people don't really get how much half-decent tools cost!
Showing at £499.20 on my trade card?

Add it to your basket and it'll drop to £400. I'm trying to do a screenshot but the site keeps crashing when going to my basket. I've now got three of them in there for £1200...

The adjustable spanners and the hex keys are crap, everything else is really good, and all the sockets are single hex. This is a great buy for an apprentice or home mechanic.
I'm adding heat. I did get this roll cable last month for a mate on trade for £157
I guess some people are assuming it’s just the chest minus the tools.

But heat from me with all those tools included.

Definitely not cold. A Snap-on box alone would cost 4 times this.

A snap on box is also 4 times better... The Halfords Industrial roll cabs are decent, but the drawers on the top box are too small so you can hardly put anything in them and still be able to close it.

Only reason why this is worth getting is because the tools are lifetime warranty. Shame the sockets are 12 point though. I'd imagine many more would buy them if they were 6 point.

The £500 price comes from if you bought each modular tray and the roll cab with the trade discount.

Judging by the fact the only tools that go hot is a 3 piece adjustable set from screwfix for 99p, I'd go for the latter.

Yes the drawers on the top box are a bit shallow. I have no issues though. This is still an excellent value box / set for the money.

If you want heat for a tool deal, it needs to contain at least 20+ items for a tenner or less- quality not important, so long as there's loads of tools in the set. When it comes to power tools, they either need to be from Aldi or Lidl, or cheaper than Aldi or Lidl's, as they're the benchmark by which all others are judged. Them's the rules
