The sports direct of the furniture world !!! Always have a sale and always on tv !!!
Don't worry if you miss this, it will be on in a few weeks time again I am sure.
cheap nasty furniture and massively over priced! wouldn't give them £100 for most of the tat they sell
Only 5 days left this week on this sale
then 7 days next week
then 8 days the week after

yes,me...unfortunately i made the mistake of liking a half price suite advertised on TV,when i went instore to buy it i couldnt see it and opted for another half price suite instead,it cost me 2.5k and i hate the site of it now as its about 6 years old,but i cant justify buying a new one yet lol

Nobody could be that thick.
I dont believe this deal to be be honest, you'll be telling us next that safestyleuk are doing a bogof

In other news...night follows day
Would never use DFS again, paid out over £1000 for a 3 seater and 2 seater sofa, the 3 seater broke within 2 weeks, had it repaired, broke again, repaired again, it then broke again and they refused to come and fix or replace it. We even paid out extra for insurance.... Horrid Company!!

I have to disagree. We are just replacing a suite we purchased in 1994 from DFS and it still looks and feels OK.

DFS = Daily Flipping Sales X)
If any of their sales were real, then you'd be getting them for free by now, what with supposed constant reductions, sales, double discounts, £400 off, etc, but somehow they keep taking money off, yet the prices are always about the same. They're not sale prices or anything like, the prices on their furniture (and most other stores), is basically the price they are made to sell for anyway, so not a bargain at all, except perhaps an odd display model clearance etc.The other thing, they never seem to have any stock of the cheap ones you see on TV to get you through the door. The quality, well for the price probably not any better or worse than most others around for the same price, but ultimately you'll get what you've paid for, not a bargain, if think otherwise then you are a DFS! lol
A lot of hate on here for dfs! Im just about to replace my 6 year old dfs sofa with a new one. (because its too big for new house) can anyone suggest anywhere else to get a half decent sofa with 0% apr?
BTW heat added from me.

No 0% finance, but if you were looking for a fabric sofa, I decided to avoid the 'sheds' and ordered from Davini in Wales.I got a very comfortable sofa and chairs, at a decent price, and in the end replaced due to a complete room makeover rather than because of wear, and that was after 8 years, not bad. They are actually built in Wales as well, no chinese stuff, and were actually well made which I noticed when I had to take one apart the chair to fit it in the car to get to the tip, the others I sold on.Obviously, they have a limited range, you can't really try before you buy, but I was very pleased, and would say very good value for money if you don't want to spend a fortune.

As for DFS, well I can't knock their furniture, as I've never had any from them.Personally, my problem with them, and SCS, Carpet Right etc etc is why they try to pretend everything is a sale price, when infact it's basically the price a particular item is made to sell for, and any reduction is only achieved from a over inflated price they may place on an item during the odd couple of days a year when they're not having a sale, but then everyone knows their sales a con, so no big deal, and no need to rush incase you miss it, the next one will be in a few days!(_;)

@HAL2000 thanks for the reply. I agree with the annoying fact about companies selling techniques. Our sofa was £800 half price, I asked sales man if it was ever for sale at £1600, he said legally they have to advertise sofas at full price for at least 2 weeks before reducing. And people have bought sofas at full price! Can't help thinking my sofa was £200 day after purchase.
Lmao at this deal

i wouldn't call it cheap and nasty, we bought a leasther one from dfs a few years ago and it's still like new, very good quality

but the amount of "sales" they have is ridiculous

Same here. Bought a 4 and 3 seater for £1500 at half price *cough* 9 years ago and still as good as new and supremely comfy.

The deal though is a joke!
