4000 (£40.00) TESCO Clubcard Points with a new PET insurance policy

125
Found 5th Jan 2016
(Ensure you use code TOPPET to get the quote)
Take out extra or premier cover before 1-3-16 and get £40 worth of points which can be used for £160 of food at some outlets or double up on the next boost.
The extra cover isn't that much more than the basic cover so worth paying the bit extra to get the £40 points.
I just took out a cat policy for £86 so all in all its free more or less especially if i spend the points at restaurants on 4X !!!!!

its not free though is it... however the points is a good offer
Certainly not free if you don't have a cat
Thanks op. Looking at getting pet insurance shortly so will look into this.
The deal works out more if you to compare it to other competitors. Tesco's are expensive when it comes to any insurance.
They want £34.75 a month for my cat, minimum 12 months.

Just a common mog.
Cheapest quote I got was £45 for the year and I don't even have a pet... (_;)
£20.20 cashback on TCB.

Did you ensure you selected extra or premier cover as if not they won't pay you the bonus points.

don't know about that, I was doing car quotes last night, cheapest I found was Swinton £489, tried tesco as an afterthought and was only £260

Thank you kind Sir
missleading, you say it costs £40 - then say you paid £86
Thanks just had a kitten fir Xmas, it's currently covered but this looks a fab deal right at the correct time!
I'd prefer £40 off my premium than vouchers.....only saying
Cheaper to buy another cat, screw the insurance.
No idea how you got it for £86. Tried a quote for a medium sized mongrel dog four years old, £414 a year. LOL, what a racket insurance is.

Wonder how much it is to insure a Will Ferrell for a year with Tesco
It says you need to enter the code toppet....I'm about to press buy now after inputting my derails but it's still not asked me to input code? Don't want to miss out any advice??
The t&c's state that points will not be issued if the policy is cancelled within the first thirty days. If you take up the option to pay monthly and then cancel once the points are confirmed then you will be quids in (or should that be points).........

Thanks....I bought it without putting the code in :(:( and then realised afterwards so I've bought another one in my husbands name and made sure I put in the code, hopefully when I ring tomorrow I will be able to cancel the policy I set up! Another question ... How do they link it up to your club card tho, I wasn't asked to put my club card details in at any point?? Or is that something else I've missed oO

sell the cat..you wont get more than that
I insured my cat for under £6/month with a £200 excess on the Extra policy. Cracking deal thanks OP. Strange how the T&C say the CC number must be entered during the quote for the 4000 points yet there is no option, I hope the previous poster is right.

You enter your clubcard at the start to 'guarantee a discount'?

It then says when you enter the code near the end you are getting 4000 extra clubcard points.
For anyone getting a really high quote £30+ a month and you are using autofill to complete the webpage make sure its not overwriting your birthdate over the cats.
£14.78 a month for my little pug

I had to input my clubcard number on the final page!?

This has got me worried now, I had zero option.
