Does this work online too or just via phone?

Thanks
Somebody on another forum did it online and got the points.
I've given it a go.
The leaflet I got says"search Tesco home insurance for a quote"which seems to confirm this.
Points should arrive around 2 weeks plus after the policy becomes live, once the cooling off period expires.
Does it mention the points during the quote? I've just done it putting the code in and it seemed to accept it but no mention anywhere of the extra points.
No mention of points anywhere. This needs some confirmation, not just hear say

Its been posted before on here and people refer to it having been confirmed over the phone - valid till 29th April
Would this work with topcashback or quidco?
You sure this isn't a personal code linked to a clubcard number?
thanks, Just moved over from churchill. saving £80 plus hopefully points
Is this for both contents and building? Will it work for just contents? Entered code but not showing anywhere that the code has been accepted or that I will get the points? Advice pls ☺️
With the pet insurance there was no confirmation of points, not even anywhere to enter a clubcard number, but most peoples points have turned up for that.
This is not a personalised code. I had this come with my online grocery shopping yesterday. It looks like the code can be used by anyone with a clubcard. It can not be used via any comparison sites. Thanks all
Does this work for only contents insurance ?
Thanks OP
Well, some insurers offer £84 cashback via TCB. What's special with 4000 points?
My insurance cost me £16 after the cashback.
Some people at MSE even make profit.
I'd strongly suggest reading the reviews of Tesco home insurance before buying.
A few years ago I did, was burgled only two weeks later and glad I'd gone with a much better policy even though it cost a fair bit more.

Correct same with the car insurance, they sent round this horrible brute, trying to make some vandalism I'd had on my car all separate claims for each scratch,Mark etc that had been done.

Loss adjusters, getting paid for reducing or killing your claim. A third party getting paid to stiff the customer.... Thats going to work well for customer service feedback if they are bias.
Any similar promo codes for taking out car insurance?
Damn I only took out home insurance with Tesco 5 days ago!

I put the promotion code into Compare the market and it said it was accepted at the quote stage. I called Tesco Bank to check and purchase the policy and the points had been added to the policy already. Great deal, and one of the cheapest insurance policies out there!

Does look horrendous till you look at all the other major insurers e.g. John Lewis, Aviva etc. All rated around 1 out of 5 seems to be a general preception of insurance companies doing everything to get out of paying claims which all of us know is probably the case!
