Hi,got my mum one of these the other day on this deal, seems to take a bit to charge it,so far so good, time will tell if it's any good.
I thought it was worth a punt at this price.
Voted hot, good ratio £ : mAh but looks a bit big in size for carrying with you.

Hopefully it is light at least @Rolefitleader?
Dimensions: D 8.7 x W 22.3 x H 8.3 cm
That's smaller than standard higher capacity power banks. And square shaped

Yes, I agree and I voted hot. I've got a few 3000 mAh, and there are about 10x3x3, so I believe if you get something small capacity, you get it to carry it with you for emergencies, hence the smaller the better. The high capacity you do not carry it with you often, so size is not that important.
But this one is a good price.

The dimensions quoted are incorrect. Something that big wouldn't fit in a giant's pocket!
I've got some of these and the power bank measures approx 6cm x 9cm and about 1cm thick.
The packaging isn't even as big as the quoted dimensions at 8cm x 14cm x 1.5cm

True! They probably put a dot in the wrong place making it 22.3cm wide lol

They most likely meant 2.23cm

Good find. Not everyone wants monster power banks, some people are happy with enough to get a half-charge to keep them going and from a reputable company.

I don't think this power bank is made by a reputable company, I've never heard of 'Mayhem' power banks before have you? In fact that's exactly the sort of name I think I'd want to stay away from when buying lithium batteries.

The reputable company I'm talking about is Robert Dyas - they won't sell any old junk and risk their reputation over any fallout, so you know it'll be approved and certified for use rather than some generic thing.
