Just as a tip, I got this one as present and it's worth every penny (that I didn't pay for ;))

Hot from me but will never drink hot on plastic.
Heat for the price, but my experience of several Thermos mugs bought between me and my colleagues is that they are utterly rubbish and fall apart very quickly.

Great flasks, rubbish mugs

Is this due to the plastics leaching? Or is it a taste thing?

More of fear of leaching than the taste
Bought this the last time it was this price! It's fine, keeps drinks hot for my 40 minute drive to work each day (would easily have cooled by the 1 hour mark). Still, for £3.50 it certainly meets my requirements

Same price at asda
Not touching this, looks terrible quality. Some things are better to invest a bit more on

Doesn't this give your drinks a funny taste? I had a thermos awhile ago and made drinks taste metallic
Out of stock
They are out of stock, I ordered four , hopefully shouldn’t have to wait too long. Btw because I ordered 4 there was a £1.20 discount , so each one cost only £3.15 each. This was a good find. Heat added.
Just get a Bodum and be done. These plastic jobbies are a poor substitute. Had my metal Bodum for 4 years now and it's been through hell and working fine

For me it’s a bit of both. They can say BPA free or whatever but at the end of the day the drink never tastes right out of plastic.

I know right? Why do manufacturers still even make these?

What is leaching?
Not worth it.

Got given this for free and even though it is Thermos, any hot drink poured into it tastes awful. I also found the top was leaky.
I bought like this last year, and I appreciate the product how simple and easy to carry mug. Very affordable best buy.
Go to Asda, they have no profit travel mugs for £1, yes £1! I bought a few for the family, they are pretty good too - so far no leaks!!!!
