Awful company to deal with - got a faulty tft -took 3 weeks and loads of phone calls and emails to get my money back -then they didn't refund courier charge they said they would and that took another 2 weeks -would not touch them ever again !

good price thou for a 42 even thou dont hd

good deal but shame not hd vote hot but i would not deal with this company again

i would not deal with this company again

I'd second that - after returning a tv that didn't pick up a signal they told me they wouldn't refund my postage as the tv was working fine. The customer service guy was rude and I definitely wouldn't touch them in future.

I am sure you can get a cheap HD 42" for maybe another £100. It's not like this is a quality TV anyway.

Go for HD, you might able to get a really cheap 42" HD for this price if you really looked!

for another £130 i would go for that hd 42" lcd t.v in argos
still good price just shame about the company

of course, pay more info you can afford the extra 30% and really plan to have an HD source in the next 2-3 years...

I take it sd picture will look better on this tho as it is at native res so no upscaling.

More like 5 years, how long do you keep your TVs?! :?

May as well spend more now and you will save changing TV every 2 years!

I think it depends on which HD set you get.

Mine hasn't had any problems with SD though, but I can't comment on other TVs

So if this set was HD, some of you would actually buy it. :w00t:

Beko & Microdirect, as if one isn't bad enough!

If any relative negative posts haven't put you off, the best of luck to you. You're going to need it!

I don't think anyone who commented here, apart from maybe the OP would buy this TV :giggle:

If people were prepared to buy a cheap SD set like this, then they'd be prepared to buy a cheap HD set :whistling: Obviously it would be another £100ish, but IMO it would be the better option now

Obviously!

Quantity over quality

Freesat HD and Freeview HD are launching over the next 18months too, whomever buys this will be kicking themselves within a year.

Well it's hardly going to be cheaper to get a HD set :whistling:
