They absolutely, definitely have. £85 for a 5kg bag? GTFO. Pathetic marketing.

Just compared this to my order in September and 2.5kg protein is 80p cheaper
Fantastic! Time to stock up
I did manage to get flavour drops for £3 delivered, so that is a decent saving compared to the norm £5-6.50 ish delivered!

Good deal OP. The free delivery is a good
Today it’s 50% off with code BLACK. Doesn’t include free delivery unless you spend £40+
Scummy company, cold.
Thanks OP. Saved even more than the last offer in June and their peanut butter is great.
Yeah, the peanut butter is totally inflated in price.
Hilarious prices
Looking at my past orders I’d say two things, the prices I’ve paid are the cheapest I’ve paid for the same items ......... however the prices have been inflated from the looks of it. They are still selling the gear for cheaper than normal so it’s a good time to buy 🏻
I'm just starting off on this.this area seems confusing. I'd appreciate any recommendations on a low calorie high protein supplement to help boost muscle mass and increase the amount of energy for work outs. If that can be done? Sorry newbie.
I stopped ordering from them because they stopped selling most of the things that I wanted.

Sometimes the prices are okay but you have to be very careful with them and discounts to make the prices reasonable IMO.
Stop complaining!!! These are good prices anyway & I have used 'My Protein' before and their products are good quality (I've a brilliant foam roller from them that is cheaper than I've seen elsewhere & really efficient electrolyte tablets, among other things. Coconut oil is at an excellent price and two of us were delighted with it - organic too I believe).

Lots depends on your personal tastes and preferences. You could just pick up the sample pack of whey protein - it’s about a tenner but after a code you may be able to get it for 6/7. Will give you a chance to try out a few flavours of standard protein. Pick one you like. Start with this.

Personally the closest I’ve come to a ‘low calorie’ option would be whey isolate, a purer whey protein, lower lactose and less carbs. More expensive but a must for me. Avoid any of the brands that add a lot of filler in their protein which will be mostly carbs. Normally spot these if the recommended serving is two scoops. Or if you want something more juicy, check out the clear whey in fruity flavours.

For energy definitely go with the Creatine and cycle it.

For pre workout they have a couple of blends - again check out their sample packs to see how it works for you. Personally I stick to fasted workouts with fresh brewed ground black coffee as a pre workout. Zero calories without sugar (go for sweetener if you must). For me that’s enough assistance. Remember to prevent tolerance and only take it as a pre workout, and also cycle it regularly.

I’d suggest a daily multivitamin as well as omega 3 and glucosamine. If you’re sticking to a varied whole food diet you shouldn’t need much else.
One other must for me is ZMA, essential to aid good sleep and recovery.

But remember, all of this is a waste of time if you don’t get the nutrition / diet sorted as well.

Good luck.
Does NOT include free delivery. How tiring...
prices are ok, I mean things never stay the same price they're only ever going to go up year on year but I expected better over BF/CM weekend.

Here's my purchase history to prove it (same flavour and same size each order -5kg Chocolate smooth impact whey)
22/11/18 - £40.80
03/01/18 - £45.50
04/09/17 - £40.30
01/05/17 - £43.39

If I order today with the code "BIG" I'll pay the highest I've ever paid £46.74. In the grand scheme of things its still a decent price for flavoured protein at 5kg but on those other orders I got freebies added in, one a free mixer, another the really decent 1/2 gallon hydrator, this time you get nothing. If anyone knows where you can get 5kg flavoured protein for cheaper please let me know.

Thank you so much. Your help understanding the minefield of products has helped me formulate what I need to get to go with my whole food route. Need to lose weight (fat) and to do that need to keep under 2000 calories. Of those calories need to keep the protein proportion high so as not to lose (and hopefully gain) lean muscle mass. I found that I had no energy some days. Hopefully I will try the tips here to see if this improves where I found myself.

No worries, hope it genuinely helped. By the sound of it you’re counting your macros? It’s probably the best way to get your diet right. I’m assuming a high protein/low carb count?

As long as you stick to the macros and maintain a calorific deficit, you’ll see results. This stuff works and if you chuck in some good cardio or HIIT training to go with it, you’ll see weight loss pretty quickly. Check out MyFitnessPal app, to track your food daily and track everything.

Will you be weight training as well or just cardio / circuit?

If you stick to it for at least 6 weeks you’ll see results, if not sooner. And your energy will increase.
Cheers buddy, not heard of counting macros - just googled it, thanks for that tid bit. Lots to learn on my journey. I was just staying away from white flour, rice, high carb and calorie dense foods. Maintain that calorie deficit (y). To answer your question, I'm warming up at the gym doing some light cardio on the machines for 30-40 mins (heart at 135-145 bpm), then hitting the weights. I tend to do Arms, Chest and legs on same day. Later in the evening I do simple body weight core (crunch situps, plank, nothing to strenuous). I don't run at the moment and won't till I get lighter as I do not want to damage my knees.

Hopefully these products will help get those energy levels up. Planning to purchase the Clear Whey Isolate (Orange Mango), Creatine Monohydrate (Blue raspberry), Thermopure Boost capsules and I have Boots Max Strength Omega 3 capsules, Centrum men multi vitamins. Not sure I need ZMA with taking Centrum?

Thanks for your words of encouragement and you have definitely helped

Sounds good. Looks like you got it all planned out. I would recommend ZMA as well as a multivitamin. From personal experience taking ZMA before bed gives me a much better nights sleep which is an important part of the recovery piece, but you can always pick it up further down the line.

Stick with it, it’s worth it

Tbh, much of a muchness. I Usually buy My Protein and bulk powders. I think MP is out of stock right now, but mostly the same wherever you go.
