I was looking for Tv prices and I just found this one so maybe someone needs it.

£399 but £10 off with SPORTS10

Warning, this is a very rubbish TV & is cheap for a reason. Returned this same TV few days back, which was bought from Richer Sounds (lost £58 for returning it, due to Richer sound's rubbish policy of charging customers for the tosh they sell!). Picture wasn't bright or clear, unless you were sitting right in front of tele & in-line & there was some motion blur as well when watching fast moving frames/vids. Was quite disappointed, as our previous LG (LN575V) was great.

Product name 43UJ630V. £399.99 is the average price but, if you have a time machine and don't mind the tax dodging American beast, it has been as cheap as £369.99.

Good idea to put the make and model in LG 43UJ630V there is a review here topuptv.co.uk/rev…tv/

No need. For a start it repeats itself a few times.
It offers the advice that it doesnt compare to a oled on numerous occasions . No sh*t Sherlock.
On top of the fact it praises a TV that's a RGBW.
I don't care how cheap it is, it's a terrible TV

As I said you can direct your editorial comments to the page and I am sure with your intense knowledge you will be able to impress them and take them to task. Your subjective opinion of what is good and bad is irrelevant considering your last recommendation was for a television that suffers badly from backlight bleed, and motion blur not to mention the cheap panel.

What recommendation was that? The Panasonic I posted?

I don't think the use of an RGBW panel is defining of whether a TV is good or bad. Since LG Display supply panels to Samsung there may be a lot more RGBW TVs next year. Subjectively the RGBW panel will look perfect to the majority of people. The primary detail most will notice is the UI - and WebOS is good.

Picture quality has to be the first thing anyone looks for in a TV, the UI and WebOS come in a very distant second. The fact a RGBW panel affects picture quality quite substantially makes it a bad TV

I think your aversion to RBGW panel TVs is ideological. According to the review of the US equivalent models on Rtings, where the RGBW issue is highlighted with examples, the most likely occasion when RGBW will be noticed is when the TV is used as a monitor for a computer. Even then, the RGBW issue is very specific to small text on a dark background and not a general issue. The review is generally positive and there are TVs with worse picture quality using non RGBW panels.

Sorry I really disagree. I have stood in front of a LG RGBW panel TV and compared it to native 4k panel Tv's, within the same price range. You can see a clear lack of detail on the LG set with clouding within the colour. So the problem is far deeper then text on a dark background.

Read my review, in the description of this deal... Do NOT buy this tv, unless you're gonna sit right in front of it & in line.
