Same price at argos
Go with the Currys one, better model, same price.

Same price at argos

The advantage with the Argos one is you can get it now, while with the Lidl one you have to go in store and you will probably find none left.
The advantage with Lidl one is it is coming with 2 years warranty, while the Argos one is only 1 year.

In normal circumstances, you can argue and bring European legislation in discussion, which means min 2 year warranty, however, as we do not know anything about Brexit, don't count on 2 years warranty from Argos.

I thought the same, however upon returning the item I was told it can’t be refunded until toshiba agree to take it back, this is why I refuse to buy Toshiba goods anymore, after a length discussion they agreed and you get a credit note for the value of the TV that you can use at the place you purchased
Where did you buy it from? Its your consumer rights it doesn't matter whether Toshiba won't take it back your 30 days is with the store
Under the Consumer Rights Act you have a legal right to reject goods that are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund - as long as you do this quickly.

This right is limited to 30 days from the date you take ownership of your product. After 30 days, you will not be legally entitled to a full refund if your item develops a fault, although some sellers may offer you an extended refund period.
I need a TV around this size but it must have scart and component inputs. Any deals?

Always best to buy on a credit card. They will give you the money back and get it back from the seller
