total heap of rubbish...expect to find this in...poundland

almost saved by the corrosive language, John Hurt and Ian McShanes weighty presence...but there's no story of note or drama and this isn't even a spotty second cousin to the hugely enjoyable Sexy Beast...less than £4.00 for a recent bluray is a good spot though

shocking movie, not even saved by dialogue between Hurt and McShane.

Dead right i turned it off and even this cheap price wouldn't cause me to dip in to my pocket for this rubbish movie. So for that reason cold.

Good price......but I would not like to be put through the pain of watching again.

Yup,

its a one set 'play' rather than a movie.
Slightly bizarre and certainly not the movie I expected. One to miss I'm afraid.
Cannot vote hot as a **** like this isn't worth one penny.

Oner of the best British films in the last 20 years.....possibly too clever for the chavs on here

has this gone out of stock? the only bluray i can see is for rental only

looks like must be out of stock

We really need more variety. This whole british gangs thing has been thoroughly done to death and none have had the impact or style of Lock Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels (or Get Carter if you want to go further back) .

total trash... waste of time.

How does a film about a bloke being locked in a room for 90 mins before being let out class as one of the best British films of the last 20 years ?.There were some good actors in it but sadly their talents were all wasted in this film. The usually dependable Ray Winstone turned in a truly abysmal performance,I actually laughed at him at one point (where he was booing like a big girls blouse !).I felt no compassion for any of the characters and the film had little story or point to it.Suppose it was must have just been too clever for a chav like me ? oO

I dunno, Rocknrolla was pretty good.

I wouldn't call this a Gangster flick anyhow, there's no gangsters in it.

Each to there own I suppose but I thought it was crap and I love British gangster flicks (well some of them) face it its a pretentious wannabe arthouse film that the studios decided to market as if it was a sequel to Sexy Beast - which is gonna **** 99.9% of the people off who paid to watch it.

This film was absolutely terrible, not at all how it was portrayed so a huge disappointment.

I've owned this on dvd for about 6 months and only got around to watching it last week. Given the calibur of the stars who were involved both on screen and off, i was expecting a modern day masterpiece. Sadly, the lack of story and depth of plot made this a chore to sit through, even with good performences from McShane and Winstone (if not a bit OTT at times). Surely however, the makers must of won the award most number of 'C' words used in one film.

I thought it was a really good film, far above the usual ruubish that British cinema churns out. I for one can't stand most of these Brit gangster films so this was a refreshing change.

Good price, **** film.

how come this hasnt been marked as expired yet?
