Using the £10 of £35 voucher trick.

Draft Guiness has just been added to the Multi Buy 3 for £24 offer.

Add three cases to your basket, apply the voucher and should be delivered for £17.99 or 40p per can - if you buy with an ASDA credit card i believe it will be even cheaper.

Great, when I seen the Asda beer deal I was searching for Guinness (Draft) but no luck at first.

Best there has been on Guinness lately was 24 for £16 (0.66p can) in Morrisons at the weekend.

Even without any other discounts this one would be at most 45 for £28 (0.62p can) delivered which is still great & worth stocking up for Xmas.

Daft question but I take it you can buy in multiples of 3 for £24 (6 for £48, 9 for £72...) still get the discount & only pay the one delivery charge?

Yes,no problem in buying 9 for £72.Your total bill would be £66.......BUT if you do it in 3 different orders (which you would need 3 voucher codes or 3 different accounts for same voucher)your 3 bills would total only £54.;-)

Geoggy,i believe to get free delivery with an asda card, the minimum order is £50.Might be wrong, but i don't think so.:)

Yeah thats rite, free delivery applies to ASDA Store and ASDA Credit Card holders when spending a minimum of £50.

Is anyone having a problem with this offer, i'm adding three crates of 15x440ml Guinness to the cart and it comes up as 36.98 (with a 1.96 saving)?!?! :x

Steve, see the bulk beer thread, should explain things there.:)

cant find the guinness offer on the site?

All I can find is 4 tins for £3.99.

Was on their site when Geoggy posted - did a print out of the offer and wasn't due to end until 30/11/2006.
I placed an order without any substition permitted for delivery in the morning. I doubt if they will honour this one but fingers crossed.

They've removed the guiness and the carling from this offer online.:xOnly showing the bottles of grolsch.
Rang my local store and they say the offer is still running there.
Got an order of the carling coming this morning, will see what happens. Will keep you posted.

well my guinness came last night.

they delivered 3 x 10 cans and have charged me £21 quid.

so i'm 3 quid and 15 cans of guinness down.

just waiting for the store to open so i can give them both barrels.

Mine arrived with the offer clearly marked on the delivery note as 'Bulk Beer offer 2 for £18 or 3 for £24'
Got the 15 can packs for £38.94 with a discount of only £5.95 applied.
The £10 e-voucher has been added though so in total my account was debited £26.99
Worked out at £9 a pack delivered (still a good deal) though have emailed Asda Customer Serive to try to get the £9 overcharge back.
Thanks Geoggy and sorry you only ended up with 10 packs.

That's exactly what happened with me barney (i got the carling) Had to call twice to get sorted, but eventually got the £9 refunded.Basically they had no record of the offer online and it had expired instore.I insisted that it was there the day before delivery and the expiry date said 30/11.They eventually agreed to honour the offer.:)

well i worked it out that i had been charged 70p a can not 40p a can.

so i called the store and asked for home shopping. explained to the guy what had hapenned and basically gave him 2 options. refund me 30p a can or send me another 22 cans.

i then said i favoured the second one but to acknowledge there inconvenience of a 2nd delivery they needn't split a 3rd 10 pack, so i'd accept 2 more 10 packs.

he agreed - being delivered this pm!

will post if they arrive!

got my other 20 cans.

so ended up with 50 for 21 quid.

that will do

Got my £9.99 overcharge back so final price was all 3 crates for £16.98 delivered.

£9 refund back in the can.So 72 cans for 17 squid,less than 24p a can.
Asda rocks.

If your order was from home delivery, could you not ring the 0870 number and take the issue up with them? So far they have been quite accommodating with any pricing queries... They seem to have taken on too much with these beer multi buys though...brands on offer seem fluctuate daily - or maybe it's just round my way?

DER!! didn't read the 2nd page of this thread
Glad to hear that most of the problems have been resolved (with varying degrees of success)
In the near future though, i should be able to publish a local rate phone number for Home Delivery problems (i guess they need a national rate number to aid the call cost to South Africa!!)
