£45 cashback @ Trainline + How to get 20% off ANYTHING @ Argos

EDIT UPDATE: There have now been A LOT of confirmations of cashback, lots of money to be paid into accounts soon remember to cancel membership within 30 days before being billed!!

This is my first post, so please bare with whilst I try to explain the deal. I am putting the two under one HUKD as it’ll be easier to explain.

The first is how to get £45 for FREE:

Please note before I begin, It is LEGAL and takes advantage of a free month subscription that you cancel within 30 days.

Complete savings is a website that gives you cashback for your online purchases.... and charges £15 a month BUT the first month is free.

1. DOWNLOAD the TRAINLINE app - via the link in the red button on this post.

2. Go onto the FAVOURITES tab and scroll right down to the bottom, you will see a link saying ‘One Time Only, Save £30 on your next Trainline Purchase’

3. Once here, make two separate purchases. For mine, I purchased two train tickets as singles (to somewhere nearby so it only costs £2 or so.... via Trainline). You can purchase anything that has cashback on the site though.

4. Once you have done this, you will have 2 transactions and therefore two separate orders. You will then have to do the following:

5. On the Website, you will see a ‘SIGN UP BONUS’ to claim £30... click on this and submit your receipt (this is used to ensure you’re not claiming without a purchase)

6. You will also see a ‘MONTHLY BONUS’ area to claim £15 cashback FREE... click on there after and submit your second receipt.

This will then total to £45 that will be submitted

7. Once you have done this, head over to the ACCOUNT SETTINGS tab and put in your bank details so that they know where to pay the money to. This MUST be done before the cashback bonus is confirmed else you won’t get a payout

8. Wait a few days until you receive the CONFIRMATION of the bonus (£45) via email, stating it will be paid within the next 30 days.

9. Head back over to the site and over to the Account Settings. Hit the ‘Update Membership’ option and cancel - this will ensure you DONT get billed after your 30 days are up.

And there you go.... £45 for FREE, legally and completely legit!!

—————————————————————————

Now for the 20% off Argos Special.

This applies to ANY ORDER - so you can get potentially £HUNDREDS off of a new phone or laptop!!!

1. On the Complete Savings website, you will see an option for ‘Gift Cards’, click this.

2. Top up you e-Gift card with the amount you want to spend, it’ll take off 20% and save you money - it’s as simple as that!!

3. An electronic Gift Card works the SAME way as a normal one in store, except they will email/ show you via the website your gift card number to add onto the Argos Website.

I hope this will help a lot of people out and save them money.

Enjoy !!

It’s about time we took these con artists down. If everyone signed up on here and then cancelled they might finally fold

Your handing over card & bank details and this makes me a bit sceptical...
Looks like gift cards are limited to £100 per month. No mention of what the actual monthly fee is either. Have u used this site before? Can you recommend?

This would / does work, but their whole business model is that enough people forget they've signed up for several months that they make significant amounts of money from it.
Welcome to the site. I nearly signed up for a similar promotion on Debenhams - in fact every time I make a purchase on there a prompt appears trying to persuade me it's a good thing to do to get a discount on future purchases. I smelt a rat when my bank details were requested and of course then when you read the full T&Cs it becomes clear that a monthly subscription is required, so it's only beneficial to those who regularly spend on the site. They're hoping folks will forget to cancel after the initial 30 days, which of course many people will.

Worth doing if you diarise to remember to cancel within 30 days; if you're as forgetful as I am not a good idea!

Genuine website and has been around for years. Have done this twice already.... it’s literally the same as TopCashback or Quidco but for a fee due to higher rates. All that’s being done is taking advantage of the first free month and cancelling before subscribing!

Each to their own i guess, worked for me. I agree the sign up can be confusing and made to look like it’s free, but clearly states it’s a subscription. As long as you cancel within 30 days you’re quids in
Will try this later thanks OP.

I love playing Mornington Crescent.
All good if you cancel in time, and can't see an issue with this.

OK, so I thought I;d give this a go, have signed up, have made 2 purchases, but now struggling to follow your step. 5. "On the Website, you will see a ‘SIGN UP BONUS’ to claim £30... click on this and submit your receipt (this is used to ensure you’re not claiming without a purchase)". its not on the app, or on the website.

If you cancel within 30 days (which I assume people will be as cashback will be confirmed well within the free month) then no cost and £45 free just make sure you remember to cancel to stop a subscription

You should see a tab that you can click down and it will show the bonuses that you can accept (see screenshot) the £30 will be there. I’ve already claimed mine, so can’t take you to the next step but it’ll come up with a section to put in your receipt

37334457-cRjkX.jpgDoesn't appear you can cancel online here
When I clicked the claim £30 cashback and signed up, I then got linked to another cashback site called "My Time Rewards" which appears is owned by same company. I got confused and submitted them the second receipt and then realized it was a different one and have also now uploaded the same receipt to the complete savings cashback site for the monthly bonus. So could potentially end up with £60 cashback in the end if they pay out! Can cancel them online easily enough and if you're really concerned then you could report your bankcard lost/stolen etc..

Thanks op

Me too this trains gonna be full
nice find
Smarter Shopping is another one of these - if you buy from the right place no reason you can't submit the same receipt twice.
Just make sure you cancel! As long as you do, its like being paid for knowing how to use a calendar...
Thanks for deal - it's not overly clear.....

2. Go onto the FAVOURITES tab and scroll right down to the bottom, you will see a link saying ‘One Time Only, Save £30 on your next Trainline Purchase’

At step 3 - once where? On the favourite tabs? Or click on to the link and sign up and then once you're there?

Thanks

I can see where people get caught out on this but personally I don't think they are con artists. All the information on how membership/cashback is on their website and if you follow the instructions it can be a very good scheme. You just need to make any purchase within each month to claim the £15 membership fee back (always paid back for me), then I just use it alongside Quidco/TCB to see what's best for each transaction. I have hand £100's of cashback on flights that I would never have got with the other two. 20% off £100 each month with Argos also good.

So as with every financial matter, pay attention to the detail to know what actions you need and risks you are taking...
Hi, does the 20% of Argos work on sale items.
I have been using this website for years and have saved over £1000s pounds of via cashback for example argos sometimes they do 20% cashback and other major retailer and on top
Of that gift cards 20% every month upto £100. So heat addee!

You effectively buy a gift card but for 20% less than the value you want if that makes sense. Will work on anything as it’s just like a normal payment method

Hi sorry i think there was alteration during moderation... effectively you need to sign up first (to complete savings) using that £30 next purchase link. Once you have done that you can then go and purchase your tickets that you will then submit later. Account has to be created first enable to qualify
As someone who's previously been the victim of online fraud, this all sounds a bit dodgy to me. Trainline already has form for this kind of underhand trickery.

Where's this gift card thing, only thing I can find for Argos is 10% cashback?
what proof of purchase did you use? Screenshot?
Avoid complete savings, its a con. 30days free, then membership fees apply. Credit Card details upfront, hell no.

You can get discounted vouchers for free from other sites (and no membership fees).

OP conveniently left out the membership fees, so probably affiliated with them in some way, be careful

No doubt they try to catch people out to make money but so long as you cancel within the 30 day trial period they cannot bill your account... worked for me

You have to click on the drop down on the home screen (where it shows your earnings) that gives you the option to purchase a gift card
