£45 cashback @ Trainline + How to get 20% off ANYTHING @ Argos

EDIT UPDATE: There have now been A LOT of confirmations of cashback, lots of money to be paid into accounts soon remember to cancel membership within 30 days before being billed!!

This is my first post, so please bare with whilst I try to explain the deal. I am putting the two under one HUKD as it’ll be easier to explain.

The first is how to get £45 for FREE:

Please note before I begin, It is LEGAL and takes advantage of a free month subscription that you cancel within 30 days.

Complete savings is a website that gives you cashback for your online purchases.... and charges £15 a month BUT the first month is free.

1. DOWNLOAD the TRAINLINE app - via the link in the red button on this post.

2. Go onto the FAVOURITES tab and scroll right down to the bottom, you will see a link saying ‘One Time Only, Save £30 on your next Trainline Purchase’

3. Once here, make two separate purchases. For mine, I purchased two train tickets as singles (to somewhere nearby so it only costs £2 or so.... via Trainline). You can purchase anything that has cashback on the site though.

4. Once you have done this, you will have 2 transactions and therefore two separate orders. You will then have to do the following:

5. On the Website, you will see a ‘SIGN UP BONUS’ to claim £30... click on this and submit your receipt (this is used to ensure you’re not claiming without a purchase)

6. You will also see a ‘MONTHLY BONUS’ area to claim £15 cashback FREE... click on there after and submit your second receipt.

This will then total to £45 that will be submitted

7. Once you have done this, head over to the ACCOUNT SETTINGS tab and put in your bank details so that they know where to pay the money to. This MUST be done before the cashback bonus is confirmed else you won’t get a payout

8. Wait a few days until you receive the CONFIRMATION of the bonus (£45) via email, stating it will be paid within the next 30 days.

9. Head back over to the site and over to the Account Settings. Hit the ‘Update Membership’ option and cancel - this will ensure you DONT get billed after your 30 days are up.

And there you go.... £45 for FREE, legally and completely legit!!

—————————————————————————

Now for the 20% off Argos Special.

This applies to ANY ORDER - so you can get potentially £HUNDREDS off of a new phone or laptop!!!

1. On the Complete Savings website, you will see an option for ‘Gift Cards’, click this.

2. Top up you e-Gift card with the amount you want to spend, it’ll take off 20% and save you money - it’s as simple as that!!

3. An electronic Gift Card works the SAME way as a normal one in store, except they will email/ show you via the website your gift card number to add onto the Argos Website.

I hope this will help a lot of people out and save them money.

Enjoy !!

It’s about time we took these con artists down. If everyone signed up on here and then cancelled they might finally fold

Credit Card details upfront, hell no.You can get discounted vouchers for free from other sites (and no membership fees). OP conveniently left out the membership fees, so probably affiliated with them in some way, be careful

The third and fourth point state the free trial and monthly fee.... clearly stated. Only sharing what worked for me

Link appeared straight away for me, no idea on if going direct will work or not as I’m not sure if you’d get the £30 sign up bonus
Hey is it possible to buy 3x £100 Argos e-gift card and use it on Nintendo switch smash bros bundle?
Signed up, bought 2 child tickets for 85p each. Claimed by forwarding emails from The Trainline to the appropriate claims team. Will wait in anticipation to see if and when u receive my cashback

Yes
Why do you have to make two transactions on trainline? It the terms and conditions only mentions that you have to make a booking to claim £30.

One for the £30 sign up and then one for the £15 monthly bonus.... you can just buy one if you want but you will only be able to claim one of the two bonuses
There is so much contradicting/lacking info here, especially from the OP. Maybe this is just a way for the OP to get advertising/click through revenue from trainline from all these HUKD people clicking on this unique link. Can you explain please;

You say in the post that you need to click through to trainline and download the app, where is the link to join complete savings/when do you actually go to CS or activate the offer on CS? (looking at their t and cs you have to be invited to join, but you say later on in the comments that you need to join before getting the trainline offer?) This is a total contradiction as it simply cannot be both (unless you're Schrodinger's cat!)!

Completesavings is simply excellent value. I have been a member for a few months. The savings are fantastic and all you have to do is upload 1 receipt of any value each month to cover the membership fee.

That makes no sense, the link is a link to their own website lol, where you can download the app (required for this offer). I had to link something generic as people have different devices with their own OS...

I’m simply explaining what I did to take advantage of something, and am sharing it for others who may be interested.

As for the clicking through the app, it’s explained in the description you have to go to the Favourites tab on the Trainline App and sign up via the invitation at the base of the app.

You use this link to sign up BEFORE purchasing the tickets to submit for receipt.

The reason why is because if you buy your tickets first then you will not qualify as the offer states ‘next purchase’ for money off.

You can’t submit a receipt to claim the bonus for something you bought before creating the account if that makes sense.

You are invited to sign up, and it’s done so via the Trainline app. It’s an invite, as per the terms and conditions.

There is no contradiction, i think just misinterpretation if anything.

Not quite.... maximum of £100 gift cards per month so a £20 saving per month.... you could buy over 2/3 months...

Can anyone screen shot a list of the gift vouchers you can buy?
Think I should be in line for a free £45 in a few days but... as others have said the OP's instructions are far from clear and could cause some to lose money.

I've tried via Trainline app, went to favourite, clicked the offer for CS. Purchase ticket tried to submit by clicking on attach purchase receipt but nothing happens. Tried sending email as per CS instructions email bounced back said email address doesn't exist wtf
Can somebody re-write the instructions? They are very poorly worded. For example, point 5 says "On the Website" - yet point 4 was referring to the App. The whole thing needs re-writing.

Because it is a £30 joining reward and then £15 monthly reward, two offers
Been doing this for a couple years. I forgot to cancel once and it got charged, however recouped the money from gaining the £15 monthly cashback bonus.
Will be using for this weekend.
anyone bought anything from argos? after a tv myself

An additional related question from me for anyone who has already signed up - is the 20% off £100 gift card offer available on ANY of their full range of gift cards, or (using the OP's post as an example) just the Argos gift card this month (i.e. just one specific retailer selected by Complete Savings each month). I can see how the former would be useful, the latter less so. (particularly given that Argos is one of the gift cards more generously discounted by other schemes such as Blue Light card).

My apologies for any confusion, i think some other bits were changed during moderation too.

Essentially do the following:

1) Click the link and download the Trainline App

2) Sign up to Complete Savings via the Trainline App (you will find a link for this in the Favourites tab on the Trainline App)

3) After creating your account using the link, purchase two tickets for Trainline (any tickets to anywhere) via their app or online

4) After the purchase, go back onto the Complete Savings Website and submit both receipts under the bonuses. There will be 1 to claim £30 (sign up bonus) and 1 to claim £15 (monthly bonus)

5) Once you have submitted this, wait to receive a confirmation emails from Complete Savings. Mine took just over a day to come through. This will confirm that payment will be made within 30 days.

6) Cancel your membership under the Account Settings > Membership area to ensure that you don’t incur charges after your 30 day free trial is up.

You will receive the money via BACS in the coming week or so

Hope this helps

Trust Trainline to try to charge people even more. Only one that charges a booking fee, no idea why people even use them anymore

Glitched the first time i tried to submit and didn’t confirm that it went through. I logged out and back in, submit again and it said that it worked. Either way, CS received both proofs and paid me a week later
How long do they take to track and confirm the purchase?

There’s way too many to screenshot the gift cards they have. I have attached 2 screenshots showing their ‘featured’ ones so to speak. These are ones whereby they offer more discount (20% this month as opposed to their normal, whatever that may be). You can get 20% off ANY featured one, but they have a longer list of places like ASOS, ASDA etc of around 2-10% discount

It's been comfirmed now, Thanks again op
I just signed up, but didn't receive any confirmation email and I can't log in :/ any one else experienced this?
I've just tried doing this for my wife after doing it successfully for myself this morning and I can't get it to work now. I click on the link to get £30 cashback on the Trainline app and enter the details to register for complete savings but then it just takes me to a different screen to what it did this morning to sign up to another site for £16.87 cashback and then when I click on 'no thanks take me back to Trainline' it just comes up with a screen saying 'test'. Never get any confirmation that it signs up to complete savings or any email confirmation or anything
Actually now when I click on the link to get £30 cashback from favourites on the Trainline app I now get 'sorry, following a technical problem this page is currently unavailable...'. maybe they've got wise to this now
Complete Savings and Delivery Deals have both been great for me, and monthly bonus effectively refunds the cost of the membership anyway. The best gift card discounts have a £100 maximum though the 10% back on eligible purchases is brilliant!
Do you need to set up complete savings account first or can I go through TopCashback to buy tickets then send the receipt to Complete savings?

Oh really, that’s weird I’d say to try and sign in with your wife’s details on Complete Savings just in case it actually created an account but errored during the process... best to be safe than sorry as don’t want you to be billed the subscription fee next month !! If there is no account then maybe try again

So you definitely don't have to wait for the money to be paid before cancelling? If it's going to be paid in a week or two I don't suppose there's any reason not to cancel until the money is in your account really

When I clicked the claim £30 cashback and signed up, I then got linked to …When I clicked the claim £30 cashback and signed up, I then got linked to another cashback site called "My Time Rewards" which appears is owned by same company. I got confused and submitted them the second receipt and then realized it was a different one and have also now uploaded the same receipt to the complete savings cashback site for the monthly bonus. So could potentially end up with £60 cashback in the end if they pay out! Can cancel them online easily enough and if you're really concerned then you could report your bankcard lost/stolen etc.. Thanks op

I’ve sent both sets of tickets to both as I needed to book them anyway. So either I’ve paid out as normal or I’ve just about broke even if both sets of cash back work!
Cheapest train journeys anyone?
