£45 cashback @ Trainline + How to get 20% off ANYTHING @ Argos

EDIT UPDATE: There have now been A LOT of confirmations of cashback, lots of money to be paid into accounts soon remember to cancel membership within 30 days before being billed!!

This is my first post, so please bare with whilst I try to explain the deal. I am putting the two under one HUKD as it’ll be easier to explain.

The first is how to get £45 for FREE:

Please note before I begin, It is LEGAL and takes advantage of a free month subscription that you cancel within 30 days.

Complete savings is a website that gives you cashback for your online purchases.... and charges £15 a month BUT the first month is free.

1. DOWNLOAD the TRAINLINE app - via the link in the red button on this post.

2. Go onto the FAVOURITES tab and scroll right down to the bottom, you will see a link saying ‘One Time Only, Save £30 on your next Trainline Purchase’

3. Once here, make two separate purchases. For mine, I purchased two train tickets as singles (to somewhere nearby so it only costs £2 or so.... via Trainline). You can purchase anything that has cashback on the site though.

4. Once you have done this, you will have 2 transactions and therefore two separate orders. You will then have to do the following:

5. On the Website, you will see a ‘SIGN UP BONUS’ to claim £30... click on this and submit your receipt (this is used to ensure you’re not claiming without a purchase)

6. You will also see a ‘MONTHLY BONUS’ area to claim £15 cashback FREE... click on there after and submit your second receipt.

This will then total to £45 that will be submitted

7. Once you have done this, head over to the ACCOUNT SETTINGS tab and put in your bank details so that they know where to pay the money to. This MUST be done before the cashback bonus is confirmed else you won’t get a payout

8. Wait a few days until you receive the CONFIRMATION of the bonus (£45) via email, stating it will be paid within the next 30 days.

9. Head back over to the site and over to the Account Settings. Hit the ‘Update Membership’ option and cancel - this will ensure you DONT get billed after your 30 days are up.

And there you go.... £45 for FREE, legally and completely legit!!

—————————————————————————

Now for the 20% off Argos Special.

This applies to ANY ORDER - so you can get potentially £HUNDREDS off of a new phone or laptop!!!

1. On the Complete Savings website, you will see an option for ‘Gift Cards’, click this.

2. Top up you e-Gift card with the amount you want to spend, it’ll take off 20% and save you money - it’s as simple as that!!

3. An electronic Gift Card works the SAME way as a normal one in store, except they will email/ show you via the website your gift card number to add onto the Argos Website.

I hope this will help a lot of people out and save them money.

Enjoy !!

It’s about time we took these con artists down. If everyone signed up on here and then cancelled they might finally fold

Just about to sign up for another account but the link on the trainline …Just about to sign up for another account but the link on the trainline app doesn’t appear to be working any more? Anyone else tried today?

So I take it you’re getting an error message when you sign up and create your account... you input your details and then click the sign up button and it errors?

Effectively your account has actually been created (they seem to be scamming people now)... head over to completesavings.co.uk and type the login details you attempted to sign up with... you’ll find you’re able to log in !!

By the end of this month, all going well, I'll be up about £100 8)Thanks again to the OP.

Thank you for saying thanks

Not quite. It’s following the link for the initial sign up which doesn’t work anymore, tried in a few different browsers and get the following error message:

“We’re sorry. Following a technical problem, this page is currently unavailable. Please try again later.”

They must have pulled the offer

Just tried the link now and it works fine for me.
So, download the Trainline app on your phone...

Click on the link at the bottom of the favourites tab... it redirects you to the sign up page correct?

Fill in details - click submit

(You’re getting an error message here, yes?)

Your account has actually created, but the site errors. You just need to go to complete savings and input the login details.

Or are you saying when you click the link on the app you can’t even access the sign up page? Where the offer is?

@chris_b
If it’s the initial link, delete the app and redownload and try again.

Both the above happened to some of my friends and that was their work around

Has anyone figured out how to remove their billing details from their website after cancelling membership?
Saw this when it was posted and was very dubious. Decided to give it a go and have just purchased and claimed the £45. Will do it again in may for the monthly bonus to make £60 in total. Thanks OP
Cashback and welcome bonus confirmed at the weekend, just awaiting payment now.

How many days did it take for others? From what I can tell, less than a week?

Brill, thanks for the heads up
I received my money in my bank after about 21 days , thank you for the tip
Thanks OP, my money is now in my bank account!
Is this still working if you setup another new account once you've cancelled original account?
Money received yesterday for the welcome bonus (£30) and April monthly bonus (£15).

I submitted an additional request this morning for the May monthly bonus while my initial month subscription is still free. If that pays out it'll be another £15, giving me a total of £60!
So, assuming I'm going to get in excess of £15 a month of cashback (i.e. know I'm going to make some big purchases) this may be worth keeping for a month or two? Any issues/red flags/delays that should make me think otherwise?

The £15 monthly fee can be claimed back in the form of monthly bonus (although you have to manually submit a claim request) as long as you get any amount of cashback in that month. I don't see the need to deduct the £15 from you cashback earnings in order to determine its worthiness. The only red flag in this website is to avoid examples that people paid monthly fee without using it and/or forgot to claim the monthly bonus.

This is what I want to know, as in their terms it states one account per person at one time.
I have another account I could use and it would be really good if I could do this again

Yes!! We did the same. Made a new accounted and booked a family holiday in May and went away in July. Only thing to bear in mind is they don’t pay out the 10% until the holiday is Over so we had to keep active until then. Got Payout of £250 for the holiday (as that’s the maximum you can get in a month) and then parking etc on top of that after.

To keep the account active we just bought train tickets for like £1 and then used them to claim the monthly fee of £15 back, in turn effectively having an account for a month

Saves a lot of money i think in total we got about £400 back !!

Most likely, unfortunately. Ours confirmed itself within a few days but payout wasn’t until i think we were on holiday... i guess to stop people booking and cancelling but claiming a lot of money back.

Would say if it’s a fair amount of money back (which i assume it will be) to just claim the monthly bonus of £15 back each month and it’s effectively kept open for free

And if you make any online purchases say between now and then just check via there first as any extra cash back can’t harm (Xmas gifts if you celebrate for example)
Where can I find the purchase reference?

Where can I find the purchase reference?

Purchase reference will be on the email sent to you when you will have bought something
How long does it take to track and is there anyway to find out on the site about purchases cheers ,I can see where it’s linked through to a site but not if it’s tracked

So it’ll take like a day to track at most and then a week to confirm and pay out from experience. There should be an option with something like ‘see cashback’ or equivalent on the drop down and it’ll show you on the page what’s tracked and confirmed as well as what is ready to pay out
All I can see is last visited retailers under cash back
When did you make your purchase, and did you use an Adblock/incognito?

Yeah defo, so long as it shows the click and you have your reference etc i don’t see why they would reject! They’re usually good with their service. Keep me updated and fingers crossed
