45% off cinema tickets @ Cineworld with o2 Priority Moments

48
Found 31st Aug 2014
There is a current deal on o2 priority moments to get 45% off 1 ticket at Cineworld (excluding Tuesday and Wednesday). Its valid for 1 week.

I read the info and it seems to me that this will be a weekly thing which is good!

Enjoy

Update: According to the terms and conditions, this will be running until 31st December 2014.

Works online too. Saved me £3.74 on an adult ticket.

That's very true. But you can get an o2 sim for free then get the priority app, so they can't really slaughter that much!

Great...if you have mo mates! (or mates on o2 I know!)

3D tickets as well?

I think you can get discount on 3D tickets, but you have to pay full price for the extra cost. The discount gets you 45% off the price of a standard 2D ticket, so there will be a bit more to pay.

Hot for the price but cold because of the allocated seating BS. is it so hard to just sit where you want to and not be bothered by late people all the time?

used to be unlimited and watched over 100 films (i seem to have loads of time on my hands) and usually i used to sit on the back row under the projector window. did this because i played my vita for the 30 mins of commercials and light pollution in the theater is not taken kindly to. now if i ever go (now i'm really busy), i can guarantee every time their mapping is wrong and someones already taken the seat i'd prefer.

Top deal if this becomes a weekly deal!

Just a note. Another way to get the priority moments app to work on a non-O2 phone is just find an O2 number not using the app. Enter the number. Ask the other number what the text confirmation is enter that and away you go.

Never had an issue since they started doing this. Just make sure you book early if you know your going that day and you can normally get the seats you want. And I go to the busiest cinema in the UK too.

Heat added.

Noticed that Cineworld now charge a 50p booking fee

Is this a 'use it' when ready to use or can it be redeemed straight away and it keeps the code for the week like the free cineworld ticket offered the other week?

So they have, they used to promote not using booking fees. Bad times. Still a saving getting them online. Personally still save £1.55 doing it online, plus not having to wait in queues too.

The closest Cineworld to me still doesnt use digital projectors. Its like the bloody stone age l.

My local at Braintree just implemented this. It was a great cinema but this is going to ruin it =\ why should we be penalised because some people turn up late walking in front of you looking for their exact seat number... Uhhhh

can you change your sim and carry on using the app after?!

Pretty shady changes they're implementing now.

Allocated seating sounds good, until you go to buy your ticket and the person behind the desk says "Top, middle or bottom seating?". You ask to take a look at the layout, "Sorry, we're not allowed to turn the monitors around anymore".

So you decide to book online. 50p booking fee.

I cancelled my Unlimited account a few months ago and the last few times we've been, it's pushing me further and further away from using the company, altogether.

Title is a bit misleading when it's off ONE ticket...

Anyone know if you have to present the code even when booking online? im a non 02 customer with a friend who is on 02 :P

My local is £4 normal price and £2 on a Wednesday - perhaps I should list it as a deal )

premierecinemas.co.uk/art…out

there is no booking fee and allocated seating is a great thing it means at the busy cinemas you dont need to turn up 20mins early to get the right seat and if you book online you see the layout and its cheaper , really good deal i already have an unlimited card though

There is a booking fee, it's included in the online prices

Voted cold, not interested in O2 in any shape or form

I'm pretty surprised at some people encouraging fraud here with workarounds. I'm on O2 myself and this is a good deal.

I would be eternally grateful? Been looking for one for ages

cineworld pretty much pass the entrance fee to the distributer, so they are not bothered by workarounds. their profit comes from drink and popcorn.

No problem at my Cineworld, because they don't turn the lights down through the trailers, they keep them on until the actual film starts. But importantly, I don't have to turn up until the film starts, and I can still get the best seats.

Absolutely agree. I can book online and choose the best seats, and then know I don't actually have to set off to the cinema until the start time, as it takes 15 minutes to drive there. Walk in, take seat, enjoy film that is just starting.

How does it work if you want to go with a group of friends all of who have an O2 code. Is there any way to sit together? Ie if you buy 4 tickets can you enter 4 codes?

Thanks OP.

Can you combine this with Orange/EE Wednesdays?

And 50% off popcorn with O2 priority moments. Although would have thought they could give free popcorn with the profits they must make on the stuff!
