45% Student discount off Parcelforce online with unidays.

I'm a mature student and I have an account with Unidays, and along with the amazing discounts I came across this discount.

45% off Parcelforce online.

I was selling some of my trainers and the post office wanted £11.99 if I wanted insured up to £100 and tracked.

Using the Parcelforce discount code ...........UK09EU5

£5.60!

19/5/16 - Code said expired so I guessed at UK16EU05 and it worked!

- Red Devil PJB

25/05 - Previous code stopped working so used this one: UK23EU5 and it works.

- hijigu

31/05 - UK30EU5 - m5rcc

- m5rcc

21/06/16 - UK20EU6

- preecey

28/06/16 - UK27EU6

- preecey

or to say it clearer... the first number is the date of the previous Monday and the second number is the month.

- jonnithomas

UK08EU8

- m5rcc

New codes are refreshed weekly.

They follow a simple pattern:
UK
Then the date for the Monday just gone
EU
Then the month number (e.g. October is 10)

Job done.

Well, partly. It still includes the UK and Europe:

The following European countries are included in this offer via globalpriority: Andorra, Austria, Azores, Balearic Islands, Belgium, Bulgaria, Corsica, Croatia, Canary Islands, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Hungary, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Jersey, Latvia, Lithuania, Madeira, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Sardinia, Sicily, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Vatican City State
Is saying code UK09EU5 is invalid

*edit*
You need to select globalpriority

great post. used. thanks
Prepare for the Ask section of this site to be flooded with people asking for uni day codes.

Who ever needs a unidays code if you Google unidays you can join with them by confirming student status
Is it a one off use or permanent?
Is it just a coincidence that today is the 9th day of the 5th Month? Maybe the code for tomorrow will be UK10EU5?

OR, get a referral for P4D.co.uk, and get £10 instant credit...which you can then apply to your next Parcelforce order with them (or use Collect+ TWICE for free !)
Shows they normally rip you off with their prices.
so anyone can use that code when ordering or have to give them the unidays account details as well?

Was just going to comment that, if they can offer a 45% discount the normal standard prices = total rip off.

It is SO easy to jump to conclusions. But those conclusions, in this instance, are wrong.

Royal Mail made half yearly profits of £240 million. This is a fairly meagre profit for a company with 160,000 employees. UK parcel revenues also dipped by 1% (explains why they are trying to pump interest in the business...). So no, they do not rip you off with their prices -- they are just trying to compete in a HIGHLY competitive market.

By comparison, BT (88,500 employees), made nearly £900 million of profits in just THREE months. It employs less people, yet makes significantly more than Royal Mail.

So yes, before jumping to conclusions, why not apply some critical thinking?! It'll serve you well.
Nice deal thanks
I wonder how long this code will now work for? I give it two days, what's the point in posting it?

What strange logic.

Spotify offer 50% off for students. Why shouldn't Parcelforce offer 45% off?! They are obviously doing this code with business logic in mind.
My Friend works at Parcelforce and he used the code UK02EU5 on the 4th of may so maybe the codes change but not by much, so a little tweaking and this could go on and on?

Spotify is a completely different business model. When Parcelforce discover everyone is using this and they're losing money, it will get removed, guaranteed.
I'm sure they wouldn't offer it if they lost money
They are quite expensive generally, so I'm guessing this still makes them a profit.
£20 with code or £12 via parcelmonkey
Nice!

Yes, you are right. Spotify is a business that (to the best of my knowledge) has NEVER made a profit.

Parcelforce know what they are doing.

Or, as I mentioned earlier, about £2.50 via P4D.co.uk (when going via a referral link which gives £10 instant credit). Used them the other day to send a laptop...and it included collection from my house.

Win.

Comparing privatisations of public owned assets 30 years apart maybe is not the best way of pointing out your point. Also BT held alot more physical assets and monopoly longer than RM ever will to capitalise on.

Seaniboy. I was responding to the other people's comments about how RM 'always rip you off'.
That clearly cannot be the case given the meagre profits generated in relation to the number of people employed.
My comment regarding BT was to show how RM really isn't scalping us when compared to the other monoliths out there.
What a way to get a promotion voided and removed from unidays. The deal is exclusively for students approaching the end of their semester and looking to relocate or move their belonging back home as end of year accommodation arrangements change. In a matter of days once parcelforce are aware of the fact that the code is on here for general use nobody will be able to benefit from it

I need to send a parcel to Germany for as little as possible. This is coming in about £14 after the discount. Anyone aware of a reeeeeeally cheap way to send stuff?

No seriously you won't get a better price than this, possibly using that 10£ referral credit but I wouldn't hold my hopes high.

If you need to send some low value, low weight stuff you can try normal royal mail but unless it is a letter it will cost more...

Have a look at P4D.co.uk, then take off £10 (referral credit) from whatever their lowest price is. May work out for you

Sorry, commenting is no longer available on this deal.
