Susan also updates her payment settings on the SMARTY Dashboard by selecting the Auto-renew option. Susan receives the Supercharge Data during this month as it is her first month on the Eligible Plan.
- In her first month (11 November – 10 December 2019), Susan uses 7GB of her 45GB data allowance, leaving 1GB of unused Standard Data and 37GB of unused Supercharge Data.
- On 11 December 2019 (i.e. the start of Susan’s second billing month), Susan’s Eligible Plan auto-renews and she receives a discount of £1.25 for the 1GB of unused Standard Data from the immediately preceding month. The Supercharge Data unused in her first month expires. Susan is billed £13.75 and receives the Supercharge Data for this month as it is her second, consecutive month on the Eligible Plan.

Same tried it on a second device and although it estimates “excellent 4G in doors and outdoors” it’s not even decent 3G same for Vodafone (currently on VOXI)
Good deal but just be aware that the extra data is for the first 12 months only, they regularly do the unlimited plan for £18.75 which I don't think has the same restriction, hot from me though

Great upstairs here but non existent downstairs very frustrating
The data speeds are horrible with this. Not sure if they are limiting it or it's just the 3 network.

Sticking with it because it's super cheap with the unused data discount for now.
Does this allow sharing data/tethering?
Three network is terrible in my area. Otherwise this is a good deal. Had to move over to Vodafone. So far it's been brilliant
I got the unlimited everything deal for unidays on three 3weeks ago just put a uni email in £16 a month put straight in my ee mifi box works a treat signal fine in canning town east London

To be honest I use it mainly for indoor use in a mifi box for watching showbox ,YouTube, primevideo ,normal stuff really never had any problems but never gave it a speedtest either

They can't legally limit tethering in this country now. I use a Three unlimited sim in a 4g router for wifi and have a 2 smarty sims, one of which is unlimited and I regularly tether from.

If you're in London then expect poor speeds, elsewhere it's up and down. But at £18.75 for unlimited everything (reasonable use at 1000gb) with no contract, you can't go wrong if you've got usable speeds. I'm on around 45-70mbps, normally around 55-60.
Ordered thank you🔥
I checked coverage map for my area and it was good so I went ahead and got a smarty sim. 90% of the time my phone says no network and so I only can communicate through wifi.
It's cheap but not worth the lack of coverage.
I live in a city so would expect there to be coverage, even if weak

If its so bad, contact customer services and ask them to cancel your contract. I've done that before when the service has been terrible where I live
Quite good because you can ditch it after a month when you realise how rubbish the Three network is.
Trolls will troll! After looking through its activity on this site, most comment's are trolling and aiming to elicit a response - hence why I didn't reply directly - DON'T FEED THE TROLLS!
Can you top up with vouchers like giftgaff?

I agree. Always seems to have latency problems too which I've never had with three.

Eh? it’s a heads up nothing to do with self promotion i’m not fussed who does what simply helping others out! it’s nice to be nice
Is it as good as three network or worse
And if I don't use 44 gb, say 20 gb do I get money back

Already mentioned early in the comment's

Nope. You'd might get credit back on the "original" 8gb - they ignore the extra data.
Sad that intentional helping on this thread is seen otherwise by some! Anyway my experience of smarty is positive! Nice find op voted hot btw
As they will refund you up to £10 for unused data; and Smarty refund at a rate of £1.25/GB; I guess that means that this can actually be treated as £5/month for
- Unlimited calls
- Unlimited texts
- 37GB of data

Excellent deal.
There is a max discount of £10, which is equal to 8Gb of unused data. Therefore, if you use a maximum of 37Gb per month, you will only pay £5 a month (after the cashback).

Just ordered one via Quidco. That could potentially mean a 37GB/month plan for £2.90 a month

Just cancelled this order, as reading the T&C as suggested by @itchyone , it doesn't work like this. The free data gets used only once you've finished using the paid for data. Your refund the following month only applies to the paid for data.
Edited by: "aembleton" 6th Nov
So if only use 5gb a month how much refund will I get? Anyone know?
If 3 signal was actually good, I'd be tempted to swap over to this. I'm still getting unlimited data for £15 with VOXI though, that is supposed to be 20GB
1,000GB UK FUP
19GB EU FUP

Doesn't work like that

See the T&C.

For the purposes of this promotion, you are always treated as using your standard data first, which here is equivalent to 8gb. The remaining data is 'supercharge' data. Supercharge data is not refundable for their unused data policy.

So, if you use 37gb of data, you've consumed all of your standard 8gb data, no unused standard data remains in your plan and so no refund is due.

Incorrect the discount is for the original data amount only.
Thank you for sharing this . My Vodafone contract ends this month so I'm on the look out for good deals and I might end up using this one. It certainly beats my current one for an S8 at £47 a month 16gb...

You get refunded £1.25 for each complete gb unused. The unused data taken into account is your standard data only, 8gb.

I'll let you do the maths.

Doubt it, it will surely use the 8GB or refundable data first.
