Father-in-law has a static caravan and the site charge well over £100 for this same cylinder.

Too big for a caravan or burger van unless they are static. 19kg bottles are much smaller and more transportable.
This is a great deal compared to what Calor gas charge. They now charge for delivery because of the past 2 'warm' winters and a huge drop in profits.
Flogas is a cheaper alternative.

I live in a parkhome and pay £60 for the same size bottle, which is extortion as a mile away another parkhome resident only pays £45 [both delivered]

Bet they are from Calor gas. Their prices are unfathomable. I've done some work for them.

£59 is a high price for a 47kg bottle you can get prices much lower if you shop around, just an example and I know you have to pay a small delivery fee but birminghamautogas.co.uk/pri…asp is doing these bottles for £40 inc VAT

£40 + delivery + £25-30 cylinder deposit makes that more than £58.99....?

Website doesn't work for me.

Yeh I took it off and added number instead

I don't know anything about these to be honest, why would you need a deposit and why do some sellers ask for an empty canister?

To ensure the cylinders are recycled and reused some suppliers demand a deposit is made on first purchase i.e. Calor Gas

Ummmmmmm, that's interesting. I've driven those mini bulk tankers for Calor gas. I thought they was as safe as anything.
At least no one was hurt.
