Cast iron casserole dish from Sainsbury's. Should have been £58.

Bought at the Kingsway Sainsbury's in Derby. Not sure if it's a national deal.

i've had the cast iron range from sainsburys for years, really good quality might have to visit my local and see if they have these
none in my local -just got back from there.
WOW! Love it, such a great deal. I'm going to make a yummy casserole in my new dish right now!
Got the same one at the Durham store a few months ago at the same price point. Very good quality
Yeah these crop up every few months... I noticed recently they were in cardboard boxes and priced at around £45 to £55 depending on size. When they sell them off cheap they're unboxed and have the odd chip and knock but that may be the careless shelf stacker I suppose (they do chip quite easily as I've discovered)

The latest batch have weird dimples on the inside of the lid, any ideas why?

Great at this price though.

Doesn't everyone already have a casserole dish?

Is that in the oval one? If so, they are there so that condensation gathers on the dimples then drips back down onto the chicken, basting it as it cooks. Enamel chicken roasters have those in the lids too.
These were going for £7.50 up my end. But in orange not red

I think its so the condensation drips evenly over the food below to stop the edges drying out?

I kinda pulled that out of my **** so could be completely wrong.

Yeah, because everyone is born owning one. "Everyone" has a phone, apparently some are still sold......
Was in Sainsbury's Knaphill, and they were reduced to half price but not to £11 unfortunately. I did not try to scan.
nowhere to be seen at local sainsburys
If I can find one of these, I'll get one, great offer
Nothing in Redditch

My son doesn't have one, but then he's only 5. When he leaves the nest he still won't have one.

Every news bulletin is the first time someone has ever seen one and every jar of instant coffee has instructions on it because, somewhere out there, someone is making their first cup.

As Stan Lee used to say: "Every issue is someone's first."
They had them at Haywards Heath store for the last few weeks, various sizes, deals etc. I saw these on Saturday.

It doesn't heat itself up, you must supply the oven or hob
