Can't find it anywhere. Assume though it's low milage and high excess.

You don't know so you 'assume'! Why post that? Post facts or nothing.

Behave son. Stressful job my eye.
If you weren't so pushy with the massive con that is PCP "oh, but it's so flexible, give it back anytime, as soon as you're out of negative equity" and cared more about what people want (call them back when you promise) and less "he's in a meeting/at lunch/in the workshop/unavailable", then people wouldn't "abuse" this offer.

Meanwhile, I'm off to Mini to borrow a car I have no intention of buying. Hell, I might even put it on a rolling road to bang up the miles, y'know, for sh*ts and gigs.
The silly big minis are a scourge on the roads. They seem to attract drivers who want a small car but don't have the confidence.

So they are usually found pottering along 15mph below the speed limit in convoy with a Nissan Juke.

Not bad for a weekend away
Excess if you smash it up?
That type of deals never works in my city.
Like Skoda did some time ago 3 days test drive
wont let me select a location....
Does anyone knows whats the mileage cap and insurance etc expenses?
We had a countryman for a month as a hire car following an accident back in August (not our fault). Decent car to be fair. Wouldn't mind having one.

Do they just give you a 2 day slot or can you specify dates?
No point test driving a 3 mile commute twice a day for two days
They seemed pretty flexible for us. We go it yesterday and have it till Thursday, which is much longer than 48 hours. Also took our car to have it valeted and get a valuation.

We got a top of the range copper works automatic, which was so new we had to wait for it to have it's number plates put on... got very lucky I guess, but very nice

My wife had a mini cooper convertible for a week as a courtesy car last year for an accident that wasn’t her fault. It was a nice car. Shame the insurance company are taking it to court over the charges of the courtesy car, which she didn’t pick. Ridiculous
Wowwww thank you. I love my Mini and want to try some faster ones.

What car was she driving when the accident happened. It's supposed to be a like for like replacement.

Was it a convertible?

When a lorry reversed around a corner into my standstill car at a junction. I was in a 3 litre (petrol) automatic 2 seater convertible.

They gave me a 2 litre diesel Passat estate. Their thinking was it had a large engine and automatic which was the closest thing they had to my car.

However a diesel estate is nothing like my car and I don't consider 2 litre to be a large engine but that's rental companies for you
You should be pestered afterwards by a persistant sales person - probably won't be though. Manufacturers despair about their hopeless dealers sometimes!

If you don't want to take the risk you'd better tell them how much you disliked it. Clubman's really ugly too and you can't see out the back window properly.

Did you book the test drive through the website? And then choose that model?
Drove both. Really bad cars.
Wonder what engines are available? Sounds like the OP lucked in with a JCW?

I used to own an R56 three door Cooper, ended up with a loan (R60) Countryman One Petrol which was gutless, and swore I’d never go near them.

Then had our first child and changed car for the R60 Cooper S which for a car of its size is silly fun. I had to have some work done to it and this time was given a loan R60 Cooper, which was better than the One but gutless in comparison to either the R56 with the same engine or obvs the Cooper S with its turbo.

I’ve had a courtesy F56 three door hatch One which was surprisingly nippy, so hopefully these newer Countryman models will have a bit more urgency. Personally I prefer the look of the outgoing model but some of the kit in the newer ones shows the age of mine.

I had to go to court for exactly the same thing a few years ago. Luckily I won when it went to court so didn't have to pay anything but if I hadn't it would have been about £2000 for the 3 weeks my Mini was in the garage. Lots of stress and feeling like I was the one in the wrong.
I'd rather pay to hire a car than be hounded by a car salesperson.

My wife has a Juke, I struggle to keep it under the speed limit..

If the speed limit is 30mph stay in third gear and then there's less temptation to go faster and you have more control over the vehicle.
Does this cost anything? Do you have to pay like petrol, insurance, tax or anything???

Behave son. Stressful job my eye.

Despite the Offer text you can't take these off-road during the test drive, so no time for "More mud".

I've always had problems taking up these extended test drives.

Nissan Leaf - Dealer said unless I had a charger at home there was no point in giving a 48 hour test drive. Why would I have a charger at home if I didn't already have an electric car?

Lexus NX - Insisted I took a short accompanied test drive first.

Ssangyong Tivoli - No cars available at all. I'm sure the car is so popular they completely sold out of them...
