Or get your wife to do it for free

You sure about that? Tried it here, now sitting in the shed with the laptop!

So that's the same as 4 hours by one cleaner. We don't use a cleaner, but friends of ours do and pay £8 per hour for a lady they recommend. So for the same price, she could be hired for 8 hours. To be fair, I think she charges too little for her time, but based on what she does charge, I'll vote this cold.

So says a single man

the usually charge £120 for 2hours thats it im putting my rates up then

£24 an hour to let 2 strangers into your house for a little bit of cleaning and a nose through your stuff!

what are your rates? I'm curious to know what is considered fair on both sides. As I mentioned above, someone we know pay £8 an hour, but I think the cleaner undervalues herself. But perhaps that's a typical rate..?

i charge £10 per hour i provide all my own cleaning materials and not cheap stuff either,I cant believe people pay molly maids rates

Yep, that's about the right price I think, maybe a bit too little if you use your own materials. I was thinking that £10 per hour without materials would be fair. But I guess it depends on the area of the country and supply/demand etc. But to get a trustworthy person to work hard for only 2-3 hours at a stretch, £10 is about the minimum in my eyes. Hope they buy you nice xmas pressies or give you a bonus!

Thanks everyone for the horrible cold votes lol. I thought this was a GREAT thing to give someone as a present. I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and can't clean like I want to. I KNOW this company are hugely overpriced, but they cleaning they do is unbelievable, I saw a friend's house after it had been "deep cleaned" by molly maids. I think the cut price session is WELL worth the money. they are fully insured and checked, unlike some ad in the local corner shop.

So this offer is charging just a little more than you do. Seems .. ok then. I really dont see the need for all the cold votes. People should be voting on the offer, not their usual rates!
