48 Jaffa Cakes @ Waitrose - 25p Instore (online 75p)

Found 3rd Jan 2014
Herself just returned from Waitrose with a massive tube of Jaffa Cakes reduced to 25p. Best Before is 14 Jan so I'm guessing that's why they are getting rid of them. Also, it's Christmas-themed.

Most likely store-specific (Waitrose on Morningside Road, Edinburgh) but might be in other stores as well.

Update: Online Link added!

Cheers! I'll check my local store and get a few if I can

I love Jaffa cakes but sadly my local waitrose has sold out

Have mercy on us all. Too good.

Just been to Waitrose and didn't see these but probably just as well as I have eaten way to much over Xmas!

75p in my store but managed to pick up loads of things for the office for less than £2.

I bought one of these.
I ate it all myself.
I ended up with Type 2 Diabetes

Joke.....:p

Jaffa cakes are addictive because they contain a sugar called glucose fructose syrup, in fact its the main ingredient... their yummy and incredibly bad for you

boo these were marked up at £1.50 in northampton waitrose earlier..lots of chockie bargains though

a) fructose is just the sugar found in all fruit
b) glucose is the sugar that almost everything you eat is turned into during digestion and has provided all the energy your body has ever produced.

Neither of them is 'incredibly bad for you'..

Yours Sincerely,

McVities

P.S. you may now resume eating your jaffa cakes

Hilarious! if you truly believe that theres nothing wrong with glucose/fructose syrup, then carry on.... either that or my months in studying nutrition has gone down the pan! :3. I mean its a good deal. End of the day, were here to help eachother, like one big community. Also it has many other aliases to confuse people like high fructose syrup.

Nah, they won't. Jaffa Cakes tend to age as well as Lesley Ash, so you'll need to scoff them quickly ;).

Ordered online on Wednesday for a delivery today. The store in Ipswich was oos (saved me a journey to find out) so they substituted them for the triple packs for the same price. Which have an April date on.
