The Deal

Located on Buckingham Palace Road in SW1, bbar and Restaurant was inspired by and set up with famed Australian TV chef and author Bill Granger. The restaurant is highly rated on user review websites such as TripAdvisor, where customers have awarded it 4 stars. For £49, two Travelzoo subscribers can enjoy a 3-course dinner or lunch plus coffee, with a choice of anything from the a la carte menu - an experience that would usually cost up to £99.

Bill Granger created many of the dishes on a menu that encompasses flavours from South Africa, Asia and the Mediterranean. Travelzoo subscribers can choose from options including the following:

- Any two starters, such as spicy South African spring rolls or chicken liver pâté with melba toast and apple raisin chutney

- Any two main courses, such as tiger prawn and chilli linguine with rocket and lemon, or Scottish aged rib-eye steak served with hand cut chips and your choice of brandy peppercorn, blue cheese or garlic butter sauce

- Any two desserts, such as dark chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, or cheesecake with berry compote. Alternatively, try a selection of traditional award-winning English cheeses

- Coffees for two

Beyond the Deal
Bill Granger is a TV chef, author and restaurateur whose shows have aired in more than 22 countries and whose cookery series was watched by 2 million people on the BBC.

bbar boasts an impressive drinks menu offering 110 wines and over 60 cocktails (we love the look of The Ritz, a tempting mixture of Champagne, Cognac, Cointreau, maraschino and a lemon twist). All of their beef steaks come from the renowned Allen's of Mayfair.

400 mile trip for what won't be a patch on the local.

so people are voting it cold just because people cant be asked to travel there and that it costs more than mcdonalds...

reviews are good and average price per head is £32-£51... thus not overpriced if its 51% off...

51% off any other punter on the day, and people voting cold...

Some people wouldnt know a deal even if it came up and kicked you up the ass...

This is a really good price for three courses for two in London. Unless of course you want to eat at a buffet in China town, then you can eat for £10 a head and have loads of noodles.

£25 a head seems like a deal to me
