Brave the pin-sharp magnificence of 4K with Panasonic’s DX600. This razor-sharp display is boosted by Wide Colour Phosphor Technology, rendering your shows with awesome beauty. Blending the brand’s hyper-intuitive Firefox Smart Platform with the versatile Tailored Design, this set will stagger with its glowing picture and become the media hub of your home. Once you take the dive into high-level 4K, you’ll never look back.

Crisp, Smooth 4K Picture

To respond to screens getting bigger, brands have packed their screens with more pixels. This 49-inch screen has four times the number of pixels than 1080p HD TVs, delivering stunning realism, natural motion and incredible detail. Experience this high-spec picture across a range of broadcasts, movies, sports and more thanks to 4K upscaling. As it converts lower resolution content to near-4K quality, anything you watch on the big screen will be truly extraordinary. Furthermore, this panel has a 800 Hz refresh rate so high-octane action like sport plays back seamlessly.

Hyper-Accurate Colour

Backed by special Wide Colour Phosphor Technology, this set has a wider colour spectrum that gives images tantalising tone. Coving over 90% of the DCI (Digital Cinema Initiative) standards, you’ll be treated to a more natural and subtly-hued display.

Rapid Quad Core Pro Processor

This speed of this set’s top-range Quad Core processor can be felt as soon as you turn it on. Drifting from app-to-app and channel-to-channel is seamless, so your experience is super-smooth. This way, you’ll have less frustration when you try to do something as simple as watch TV or surf the web.

Freeview Play

This Panasonic TV features Freeview Play. Combining catch-up TV, on-demand services and live television, watching what you want, when you want, is now easier than ever. It’s free from subscription and is compatible with existing broadband services too. Services such as BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4oD and Demand 5 are also available without having to open specific applications. This gives effortless scroll back so you never miss a second of your favourite shows.

Intuitive Smart Platform

Powered by Firefox OS, ‘my Home Screen 2.0’ provides quick and intuitive access to the content you want. With regular updates, it will ensure that you stay on track with all the latest technology developments and content. Use a variety of apps from the DX600’s customisable home screen. Cloud services let you easily use fully-fledged, large-data games and a wealth of content services, so you can quickly switch over from watching TV to playing games.

Elegantly Versatile Tailored Design

Framed by a beautiful chromatic bezel, this set has an adjustable pedestal so it can fit on more surfaces and be tailored to your living room. Such seamless Art Of Interior design will sink simply into your home décor and adjust to your lifestyle.

Perfect partners

With TVs getting slimmer and built-in speakers getting smaller, choosing the right sound system is more important than ever. Soundbars enhance your TV’s sound quality and add that extra audio punch to all your movies, games and TV programmes. More affordable and easier to set up than a full size speaker system, they don’t compromise on quality either.

Don't forget...

If you want to connect your TV to a blu-ray player, games console, soundbar or soundbase then you'll need a HDMI cable.

It's a 2016 model (DX) - I have the 40". The EX range for 2017 just arriving in the shops now, hence the bargain price. I also have a 700B which does have HDR but with so little HDR content around you are probably going to happy with the 600B for a year or two at least. The 40" is a great set (What Hifi best buy) so I guess the 49" will be just as good.
