My last CRT TV was a Hitachi 32" widescreen it took up some amount of space!

Motion rate of 50Hz sounds worryingly low.

50hz should be illegal on a TV this size

No good for ultra HD sky q, as you need HD 2.2

I'm sure this was posted a few days ago

it will support 60hz, do you not remember playing a US game on your playstation all those years ago? it came out black and white unless your tv supported 60hz or you had a scart with the 60hz switch. Ancient tvs supported 60hz so this one will. Its a good price for what it is. I saw this last night , its resting in my basket ha

Motion sickness rate 50Hz.

I have this tv and the picture is great!

Motion sickness rate 50Hz.

You must have had a hard time watching TV in the past.

Heat added, it's a cheap biggish 4K telly.

Not hard for Argos to claim 'manufacturer refurbished' though, seeing as they are technically the manufacturer. They have these manufactured in Turkey by Vestel and stick the Hitachi name on, which they have licensed for use in the UK.

he used to watched it through a 60Hz mirror on the opposite wall

Yeah that's motion rate the fake marketing number manufacturers bandy around to try and explain frame interpolation. I would be very surprised if it is limited to 50hz refresh rate. In fact it looks very much like a techwood set I bought that was doing the rounds recently if so they are pretty awesome for the price...

What they said. BT Vision boxes won't work with a set without HDCP 2.2 and I imagine the list will grow.

According to this review from PC Advisor, "There are four HDMI inputs, all of which are HDCP 2.2 enabled". Therefore, the set should work with Sky and BT Vision.

it weighed almost 60Kgs! Just think how much a 49" CRT TV would weigh

This TV supports 50/60hz signals. Anything you read about 100/200/500/1000hz is marketing nonsense and is simply a feature known as motion interpolation and is something most people disable, think channel 5 soap sped up effect.

Trading Standards are investigating. Ref: 0-367542
EU Regs outlawed 50/60hz on 48" and larger a few weeks ago. No wonder they're offloading em cheap.

Just got this and every time I try and play a 4k YouTube video the TV shuts off after 3 seconds. The TV also keeps dimming with all timers and energy saving off.

Great purchase.

take it off your hands for a pony

I'd buy a Hisense before this, no good for sport with 50Hz motion rate processor.

This wont affect is although least of our worries (Brexit?)

we're still in the EU for at least 2 more years while we negotiate the exit (more since we haven't started!).

Sold out, was tempted though. HDMI 2.2 discussion interesting.

No it's not !!
Running Kodi on an Android smart TV runs much faster than the Android media boxes.I've got 3 boxes & the TV & the TV is way faster.

What I mean is you're stuck with the hardware inside the TV, you can't upgrade, with the android box separate you can upgrade no problemo

is there a specific wall bracket you can buy for this TV? or do you just buy a random one that accommodates the size

I hope the legs come off

I was thinking more about (not) using this for gaming. I mean where is this mythical 4k TV content?

the TV is faulty... I am fuming... flickering at the bottom... they are arranging everything with regards for pick up i'm not going out of my way for it so stressful
