Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkeban
Letters From Iwo Jima
Oceans 13
Training Day
300
Superman Returns

When using the link, click on "HD-DVD (70)" in the left hand menu (this is the list of the 70 Warner HD-DVDs HMV sells). Then sort by price.

These films aren't showing up on the HD-DVD specials page, so you'll have to search for them using the search feature on the website. Go through Quidco to get another 10% back. Some are now showing as out of stock, but with stock expected in within 7 days. These titles are also available from The Hut and Asda Entertainment, but from personal experience you're more likely to actually get them from HMV! About time the Warner titles started dropping in price! I think most people have all the Universal titles they want now.

Of my 5 most recent orders from The Hut (all HD-DVDs), only 1 turned up (Waterworld!) I have had everything I've ordered from HMV.

If you take a trundle over to AVF or DVDF, you'll see that most people seem to prefer HMV over The Hut (and all its forms...Asda Entertainment, Lovefilms, etc), as The Hut has shown time and again their tendency to allow people to order when they don't have stock and have no idea when or if they will be getting stock back in. Many have cancelled their The Hut/Asda orders to go over to HMV for these titles (myself included). The only one I've left with The Hut this time is The Brave One, and that's only because it has yet to be reduced to £5 on HMV.

It brings up a list of Warner DVDs. Click on "HD-DVD (70)" on the left hand side. This will show you the Warner HD-DVDs. Then sort by price (low to high).

hd-dvd , r.i.pieces

Go look for the 'WHV' label on one of the above listed hddvds (in the item info section), click on the 'WHV' link to see all Warners stuff, then click on the left hand side HDDVD (70) link, that's how I found it.

Bargains like this make me wish I bought a cheap HD-dvd player instead of blu-ray sometimes!

Ordered 300 last night and bladerunner this morning, can't fault those prices ^_^

Good Deal...heat added. Just ordered Blood Diamond and 300, Cheers !!

American Gangster in there as well for £4.99 and in stock - see the top 10 best sellers on the left hand side when in this DVD70 section.

Yep, all 5 are just under £5 via both The Hut (Asda-Entertainment and Lovefilms) and HMV. You're more likely to get them from HMV, though. Check the posts on TheDVDForums and the AVForums for people's opinions on The Hut/Asda-Entertainment/Lovefilms (The Hut runs the other two sites, by the way).

As stated above yup they are in HD Format, asda and hmv are some of the best sites out there for the hd-dvds with my experience the deliveries have always been quick and the prices are great, yes the format is dead blah blah blah but to get a film in HD quality for under a fiver you cant really go wrong! For example i got knocked up for 4.99 from Play.com and yesterday i was in store at HMV and it was part of three for £20 i think £8 on its own so some deals are well worth getting

They have Transformers HD-DVD too for £9.99 which is the cheapest I've seen it with free delivery. (£9.98 at Amazon.)

yeah a few are no longer £4.99

tried to order batman and blade runner, but the total came to over £41. Seems like it's back to normal price.

all the good new ones are full price for me?

For those now coming up at full price, I'd say give The Hut/Asda-Entertainment/Lovefilms a go, as they still have them listed at the cheap price. I can't guarantee how long you'll have to wait to get them from there, mind...

HMV will put the prices back down again (as they have done over and over again with the Universal titles). You just have to keep an eye on them.

most of the decent ones have sold out now on the hut

Check your order receipts! I ordered Flags of our Father, Letters from Iwo Jima and Bladerunner and it was DEFINATELY £4.99 each but just noticed I have been charged £59.97 for the 3 of them! Eeeek! These will be getting returned I think!!

I ordered Goodfellas and Bladerunner, both now dispatched and definitely charged only £4.49 each (student discount )

thanks OP! :-D

Other titles now added: Bullitt, Blazing Saddles, The Fugitive, Constantine etc.....all £4.99 !!!!!

Not Expired !!!

ordered Batman Begins, Superman Returns and Goodfella's when this 1st turned up.
7 days back stock for batman and goodfella's. Superman was dispatched tuesday, goodfella's yesterday, and batman today. All seems good, order receipts say £4.99, I'll have to keep an eye on my bank account if theyve been charging full price afterwards.

Happy Feet also on there now for 4.99

Unexpired now.
