How much would this make an americano?

50p cheaper

How much would this make an americano?

£1.25 Americano
£1.65 Latte / Cappuccino / Flat White / Mocha

Assuming the prices are the same in every store nationally, which probably isn't the case.

Not yet, but they're planning to launch one this year.

I have been getting 25p off for over a year and they have changed to 50p if since talks of 25p levy on takeaway cups.
Noice!

I’m amazed a chain does filter coffee for 99p to start with!
HOW MAY TIMES HAS THIS DEAL BEEN POSTED NOW?
Here is a novel idea - don't have take away coffee. get to home or office and make one there

Do you mean a novel idea?
Great. The heat is on and now the coffee shops start doing something about the tonnes of non-recyclable waste they have generated over the years whilst making us all believe that the 'paper' cups were being recycled.

All the chains can go to hell as far as I'm concerned.

Maybe it's because PEOPLE HAVEN'T BEEN SHOUTING LOUDLY ENOUGH ABOUT IT.

Amen. I'm entitled to those free coffees in Waitrose but decline them now as their cups aren't recyclable either.

It's disgusting, the amount of waste from these things - we have one planet and our time's running out. All the coffee chains have done about it to date is get their PR lines ready. No real change.

Well done Pret for real action!
Do they clean your cup aswell? My work cups are in a bit of a state.

Costa! Urgh!

I’ll stick with my Gold Blend.

This has been posted before? Although it's really good from pret so I won't make a fuss. They are planning to make their own cup as well, just working out the manufacturing (as in reusable cup)
Anyone tried to fill something bigger than their cup size, like a flask or something? Are they okay with it?

Totally spot on, the disgusting habits of 'some' people, hygiene is a non starter with them, think of a better way to sell / serve take-away coffee, Anyway, thankfully , I drink tea.

If you use tea bags they're not squeaky clean either as they use plastic to seal the bags
Can we fix that deceptive typo in the title now? 'Off', not 'of'.
Filter coffee....
Voted hot for the incentive to cut down on the takeaway cups but really hope staff will wash their hands after they touch the customers cup though, who knows what gems could be on them!
Bear in mind you'll have wash it up after using it, so ud have factor in the cost of hot water, washing up liquid, wear and tear to cup, plus the hassle of carrying a cup around with you taking all these facts into account I think I'll stay at home and make it myself

Good value (as far as high street coffee goes) at those prices. Thanks!

It's been in the news plenty of times, just like bottled water and crisp packets have. Its the consumers fault.

Don't let the number of people lecturing Trump about the environment fool you into thinking people are willing to change their own habits for the environment. The biggest threat to the planet always was and always will be the average consumer.

I'm guessing you saw that revelation of what happens in Starbucks Atlanta from a few days ago
