does this have the dodgy rgbw panel?

This I can Comment On... been looking over the last 4 days... believe you me I have disected numerous specifications...and my observations are:

It is a Good/Branded TV for sure but look on Amazon or Curry's and you will see SAME Pricing...

But the Real observations are in the Detail ... For £379 you can have a Toshiba or Hi Sense TVs - before you Scoff go and Compare Specifications and Reviews - I have done and if like me you want a Pretty Decent TV I can't justify the LG...- I'm a Samsung TV owner & I'm Not going back to the Big Brands unless like for like there is Value... I don't see the Value here of the LG when Compared...just my thoughts especially has I have been researching the very same TV...

Hope it helps

Good comment. Im choosing LG for.web os and simplicity.
RGBW losers need not comment and should save their money for a house and go outside every now and then instead of spending life in front of OLED and gaming. ;

But the budget brands for similar spec and size are about £80 Cheaper than this price . But I can tell you from having 2 LGs in our house , 9 years on they are still going strong to a point I will be. Using a new one soon even if it doesn’t break . You pay for build quality and longevity.

Been researching myself past few days although personally I have two big needs, centre stand and headphone socket. Is it just me or have a lot of them all removed the simple 3.5mm headphone jack. At present it's looking like Phillips or Toshiba (seem LG and Samung have removed). Going stir crazy with some of them not listing heaphone jacks and having to download the manuals to check lol. Wouldn't discount a Hisense myself either although all have edge stands except for the 55" which is just too big for myself.

Is this any good for gaming on a ps4 pro ? I don’t want to spend more than £500 but I still would like to get the best one out of this budget. Thank you

Maybe it depends on which Hisense TV, I bought the 43" 4k one and it was terrible, laggy and poor picture.

That second sentence does not make sense.

Does anyone who has this have any issues with freeview play not working?
The 7 day rewind function is very internment in working and LG day as it’s an app then it’s not their responsibility to ensure it works, very frustrating as this is the main reason we had the tv so we could get rid of EE tv but now we have had to keep EE tv as the freeview play is so unreliable!!!!

Yeah, but it's wide gamut so it may not matter. I haven't seen any tests yet.

Well, the 'it's not real 4K' brigade will still be bothered, but the colour desaturation issues may be solved or much improved.

4k now old tech, 8k is 2018

Thanks that helps
I would suggest that this tv has an excellent chance of being available for less than £400 in the next 5-7 days.

Hope that is the case!
