Does this torch allow you to pear into the fourth dimension, cheap deal if it does.

Good deal, but at the age of LED torches would you still want a battery drainer.

Or do you want enough light to see....

Any idea what batteries it takes?

How would this hold up against a p4 CREE LED, they are in a different league to those little bulb-style LEDs you may be more used to? this little baby is only $9.52 but seems to put out as much light as a dipped car headlight.

i have this one but it takes the large battery on its own needs a special charger might go for this as it only needs aaa bats its amazin the one i have lasts a long time u get a nice square beam image when u focus looks good and very usefull for distance and a good spread the other end its small to doubt if the one from lidls will even come close to it

I have a Aldi 3w Led torch which is similar to the CREE torches and is super bright but best of all take 2 AA batteries so allows the use of 2700mah rechargeables,
They may still have some of these in stock so are well worth looking for and also cost £9.99

Began to compare the two but only had 4 candles. Can confidently state that torch is a least 4 candlepowers

Not too bad as a torch, but definitely better (and more plausible) than a rounders bat under the drivers seat

Good bit of torch mush.

Got one from Aldi in Liverpool, gonna be handy tonight while the nieghbours are out on the lash

An OK torch, but these things eat batteries if used regularly so the extra expense of getting a good high power 5w or 7w led torch (cree etc) will soon benefit your pocket in two ways, the cost of running and also the size.

thats exactly what i was thinking . *snort*

Candles or the little tea lights things. or as these are shorter do they only count as a 1/2 candle power because i have loads of them about.

guess this will have the power of a match

Can anyone recommend a better torch from deal extreme .

The one I mentioned in #5 dealextreme.com/p/c…697 seems to be the same but cheaper.

I have 3 already and would get some for the kids but worry that they are too bright and they could distract drivers.
