Was looking to switch from giffgaff due to bad 4G performance, found ID Mobile that runs on the better Three network and is actually cheaper than what you get on giffgaff! This deal is the best value I could find if you don't call much.

Three has more 4G bands than O2, see details here:

How's 3 4g coverage?

This looks better than giffgaff right?
Seems good. Why the cold votes?
i'm voting hot.. looks like a good deal

Three has more bands than O2, which is why it will supposedly perform better given that you have coverage. Living in London I assume coverage is not going to be a problem

Could be that it is a car phone warehouse vmo, not sure but I've voted hot on the price
Atrocious customer service, they owe me nearly £200 for overcharging, CPW Chief exec's office has been on the case for 3 weeks and still not sorted my refund.

Did they overcharge you and take it out by direct debit ?.
If so call your bank and by the time you have explained it to them the money will be back in your account.
Orange 3 tmobile and o2 have over charged me.
one call to bank and refunded instantly.
I've recently moved to Three, currently getting 25Mbps download speed in a park. I'm happy enough.
Thanks
don't use ID they are so bad. Having dispute since August. terrible c/s no one takes responsibility for the poor service. leeds is supposed to be good but can never get any signal never mind 4g
So many complaints about this company. Would be suprised if you get what's advertised
sadly after you sign contract u r unable to change tariff.....

That's why I left them. They wouldn't give me the price they had just changed to on my tariff. Other than that, I was happy enough with them
One month rolling contract ... Should be easy to cancel if you don't like it?!?!

4gb is enough for most people. Well enough for me!
For those who want to be with 3 themselves, you can force them down to either £11 or £12 (£12 for me) for unlimited txts, minutes and 4gb of data
4g coverage is brilliant in the West Midlands. I've had a couple of data loss issues in the past 6 months but always sorted within a day or two.Yes customer service is not the greatest but as for value for money I think it's well worth it.
Tempted.. stuck between this and giffgaff but the bad reviews are putting me off....
Also have a dispute with them about overcharging me by £40 after contract was cancelled but they kept taking the DD.

Stay clear, their customer service is abysmal.

Is that for new or existing customers?
Think this deal is causing a lot of people to leave ee. I've been on hold for 10 mins now! :-)

Ha ha not hiding in the bushes watching ride films I hope.

I get a mix of speeds and must have a cell tower near my local tesco as when I am out walking the dog I get over 25 mbps which is not too shabby at all.
Any idea how long this price would last since it's only a 30 days contract? Because at 10£ they have a 30 days contract with 12 months double data that has exactly the same data and texts as this one but only 100 mins.

I'll have to switch company from giffgaff since I won't be able to use my old knowhow data only sim anymore since my new Lg G4 is not dual sim, was thinking about switching to ID but I keep on reading bad things about them.

My friend recently switched to these. Three weeks later and still not able to port their number, shambles!

I got the same. I'm currently on AYCE data, 200mins for £15 monthly rolling, and quoted this deal to try and get it cheaper but they wouldn't budge. Offered unlimited minutes and 4GB for £12/month 12 month contract, but I really don't need that, would rather have the data.

Yes speeds are great with 3. I get 50Mbps download and 15-17Mbps upload. My home broadband is 5Mbps and 1Mbps! X)
I was really tempted by this deal but in the end went with £10 for 3000 mins, unlimited texts, 3GB on Life as I was put off ID by all the negative feedback. The Life deal is only 3g, but allows tethering, which ID doesn't.

I can vouch for this deal, I got it myself today after some bargaining. It's a retention deal only though

And you get the tethering, free roaming, free calls to some 08 numbers, etc.

I have been testing in Blackburn area and their internet is lot worse than O2 in most places(was planning to swap for O2 sim only contract). EE has better coverage but still pockets where no internet.I also have a TalkTalk sim and has similar coverage to ID for internet.
Coverage is generally good, wherever I go *except sitting here at home*. The three mobile app lets you use it on wifi, but its a pain to use (end up having to acknowledge texts both from the main SMS app and the mobile/wifi app; the mobile app, of course, wont register unless you have a mobile signal. )
Just a question, why don't people go with cashback offers? You can get 6GB data for around £9 after cashback. Been doing this for years without problems

There systems are not functioning correctly right now. It's a good deal but if you go for it expect not to change your number for over a week.
What about the LIFE mobile deal via uSwitch. 3000 mins, unlimited texts and 3GB data for £10 a month. One month sim only. I know its 1GB less on the data front but 3000 mins compared to 500 mins which could be considered a little short for some.
It looks a decent price.

I pay £12 for only 3gb with giffgaff and to be honest I'm not very impressed with theyre internet.

Does any one know if ID are any good?

Not voted because have no experience with ID customer service, but the bad reviews are offputting.

There's a nice BT 12month SIMO here for btbroadband customers:

£10pcm for 3gb and 500mins.
£30 Amazon voucher and hopefully £40 quidco

I decided to go with iD despite there being lots of bad reviews. Unfortunately I used the uSwitch offer but only 2GB of data showed on my account. After ringing several times they said they'll fix it but nearly 2 weeks later and my account still wasn't showing full 4GB of data. They did give me an extra 500mb of data to say sorry. I have left them as the signal is terrible and 4G coverage does not compare at all to that of EE. Customer services have several times put phone down on me and it takes ages to get through to someone as you have to listen to your usage being read out by annoying automated voice every time you call up. One of the people I spoke to was terrible and rude and kept putting me on hold for ages. Other person I spoke to was helpful but told me conflicting things to what previous person said before they hanged up on me. I was drawn by cheap costs but better to stay away unless you know you get a good signal with Three and if you don't mind running after them if they don't give you the full amount of data.
ID seem to have bad reviews

I moved away from 3 because of they're poor value. They used to be really competitive and I highly recommended them for the years that I was with them..., but around the time they started rolling out 4G, things started going down hill. They are hardly competitive now. Hopefully they will lose custom for they're greediness.
