Last week I got 10GB of data, 300 minutes and unlimited texts on a monthly rolling contract for a tenner.

I called Plusnet and asked for my PAC saying I wanted to switch to the ID deal (5gb for £8). They transferred me to the retention team and matched it. They will match any deal that is out there I think. It's worth a try.

Been with them 3 years and overall pretty pleased.

Have the occasional signal blackspot but no more than any other provider.
Has anyone any positive experience with Plusnet as I was considering this for my child's emergency phone, but the trustpilot reviews are shockingly bad:- uk.trustpilot.com/rev…net . I do appreciate reviews are often skewed to people who would like to complain and are open manipulation but these seem terrible. So would be good to get any feedback please....

Plusnet use EE, don’t see why you would get anymore issues with Plusnet than if you just had a direct phone with EE.

If EE do good signal where you are then go with them.

Otherwise ID use Three.

Currently have 1 sim with them for my cousin and don't have any issue. Had network issues up north near Manchester where he was staying for a month now moved back to Uxbridge area so it is all good. Had 3 sims in total for few years, 2 sims moved to EE as I got better offers for my sisters which included international calling.

Ive got 3 sims with Plusnet, no issues with them at all. Kids however using all their data in the first 5 days I struggle with. 😳

I've have not had any problems with them so far touch wood, speeds are comparable with other 4G networks in my area.

I've just switched to Giffgaff as I've found, some of the time, I have got 3G or 4G internet, but nothing will load. I need to restart the phone for it to work. Plus, when it does work, it seems really quite slow. Other than these issues, I can't fault the customer service and the value for money - £5 rolling contract for 1.5gb is not bad!
