Just been to Morrisons and got a 4gb sd card for my digital camera for £6. Ok so the saving aint gonna make you a millionaire but I've had a look around and it seems a pretty good price. There were plenty of them in the Barrow-in-Furness store and I presume its nationwide

my camera wont take anything larger than a 4gb card so I guess other people are in the same position? And the only reason I bought a new one is so I dont have to scroll through thousands of other pics to get to the ones Im gonna take on my hols next month!

Fair points, thats why its COLDish.

Are you 100% sure? If a camera works with a SDHC 4GB card, usually they work with any size SDHC card, the manuals sometimes show a smaller card because that's the biggest size card available when the camera was first manufactured.
Unless the camera only uses the old SD standard, non-hc, where you'd be lucky to find a non-hc 4GB card.

yeah it probably is non hc. Im not very technical im afraid! Just know i put a bigger card in and it wouldnt do anything. Works fine in my other camera though so hasnt gone to waste!

for a high street shop this is a good deal, make sure that the device is sdhc compat and not just sd

They have been this price for ages. 2gb ones are around a fiver.
Always sold out around here.... every kid must have had a DS for xmas

For a Sandsik hot for a sdhc card in general not so hot.. but this not a online offer people and for offline brilliant deal.

Leaving all those pictures on your memory card is an invitation to lose the lot if the card dies. Why not copy them to your PC, burn them to a DVD for backup and then reformat the SD card?

The newer TT cards work with SDHC. I'm not sure about the other "brands" of card.

cheers, some rep for you

i have copied pics to my pc but havent burnt them to disc yet, thats why I havent reformatted the card - just in case I have a disaster. However, saying that I have 16 year old twins so 99% of the pics are what they have taken of each other, themselves thier mates and the dog. So no big loss there then LOL
