Might be worth sticking 55" in the title. I know it's in the description but some folks might miss it and may vote assuming it's a smaller screen TV.

It's a make I've never heard of but it sounds promising and specs are good; looks like it may have freesat too?

and it was over £700 then

I'm not convinced of the quality for this price, but it's certainly damn cheap for the specs. Have some heat.

If you want a good quality image but the sound completely desynchronised. Completely useless web apps. Then buy this telly.

If you want a good quality image then get a plasma while you still can!

Good price but a) I'm waiting for 8K and b) My very first, utterly appalling experience with Pixmania and their 'keep all awkward customers at arm's length' style of customer 'service' was more than enough to be my last.

Local to what the Czech Republic?

These are local TVs for local people.

This is also marketing bulls^&t

4K @ 60Hz on input or cold.

Friend comes round, "nice tv what make is it I can't see logo?". "It's a Chang Ching mate". "A what now?". "You know, a hong hong". *sighs* *walks away*

8K is the standard in Japan, and from the reviews I've seen it does make a significant difference over 4K. I'll still get a 4K panel for music production though. As for Pixmania only ever used them once and it was about 8 or 9 years ago. From the comments people make about them I won't be buying again.

please will you make some sort of ridiculous attempt to probe to us that 8k is the standard in Japan. With baited breath I wait to shoot you down for saying such ridiculous things.

Red hot for me. Very tempted!!! I'm just trying to figure out what form/source of 4K it accepts. As far as I know it's only YouTube! Anyone know if anything else works.? Or can it upscale to 4K with a 4K up scaling player?

Only 2 verified reviews on Amazon UK, the company although unlikely could literally be posting reviews themselves. IMHO there is no way near enough content in 4k and the 4k TVs are in 1st generation to warrant buying a TV in the UK.

There's a handful of films and TV series in 4k. I've seen 4k live in the flesh and theres not enough difference for me to replace a quality 1080p set (Samsung 50" with 5 year JL warranty) to replace with 4k just yet.

Wait until next year IMO with more Netflix 4k content and bluray being 4k by default and sky and virgin broadcasting more 4k.

Hope this helps anyone

what I find bizarre is 4K TV's get hot often, but 4K monitors get voted freezing - the irony here is that PC's make far more use of 4K (gaming/graphic design). It makes no sense...

Tempted and for this price can just dump it in the spare room if ****.
Could be worth a gamble but not sure.
Would really like to know what console gameplay lag is like and now reflective the screen is ....

I'm sure they, like any company, are fine when things go okay. But just try having to jump through all their stupid hoops when things go wrong...

gameplay lag is bad on this tv. would not buy it if that were your main purpose for it. ok for watching most things. 4k did not play well with my pc so unable to comment. menus are slow and smart app functions are poor and limited. does not cope well with fast motion scenes. colour and contrast are ok. would rather buy a good 55" full hd tv but at this price point its hard to knock it too much.

I could do but that would be wrong hehe.I think I meant it will be the standard by 2018 or by some sources 2020, it does mean they are ahead of us though and 8K does have a visual difference. Shoot me down though, I love the flames

i posted that i still couldn't get used to people buying a 40" tv for a spare room.
now, 55" and nearly £600 as 'a punt' !?

As someone else said, if it can't do 60Hz at UHD resolution it's not getting my approval. This model will be fine for watching TV but as soon as you get a console or a computer attached (feedback loops, input and response) it starts making you want to vomit. Same way a car that responded a second after you turned the wheel would be really terrible.

TV uses hdmi 1.4 which means its 4k/30 . This will not be a great TV to buy if you hook your pc up to it and want to do some gaming.

Downside with Plasma is the large electricity usage and reflective screen
Stangely though Plasma's are 600Hz, playing PS3 games and panning around is not a smooth affair.

I went into Yodobashi in Akihabara and didn't see my 8k panels there. Just lots of 4k. Now I'm not saying there wasn't any.... It's a huge shop.... but I just didn't see any. I'd love to see one in action though!

I'm a fan of brands that are not that popular. To this date I haven't had any go wrong on me. They normally sell at ridiculously affordable prices in comparison to well known brands and offer the same quality.
