These normally sell for £750 or more New So i thought you mite be interested in saving a large wedge of cash like i was back in February.

Well i thought i would post this deal as i have been buying and trying 4k tv since Christmas when i started with a Hisense 321 50 inch but had to return it as it suffered from to much judder so i pored through reviews and found this rather nice brushed metal Panasonic tv DIRECT from Panasonic from there ebay store and decided to give it a shot.

The very next day a SONY Sony KD-49X8005C went on sale on amazon for £490 so i bought that one too as a back up just in case i had to return the Pany dew to my high quality control standards

Anyway over the next 10 days i spent testing them i decided that the the Panasonic was the better choice for a number of reasons compared to the SONY (now £600) and the Hisense(now £470) i had before - much better build quality ,much brighter VA panel, faster firefox OS,better black levels, local dimming technology to further improve black levels and mixed on-screen content.

NEGATIVES - a lot less Apps on firefox OS, 3D is supposed to be not so good.

Unlike the other lower priced main brands the VIERA TX-50CX700B has a real brushed metal bezel as well as feet and the superior quality can easily be seen and felt.

Basically what your getting with this TV is a mid range TV at only £500 with a build quality that easily surpasses the low priced 4K Sony,Samsung & LG range.

Considering the Majority of the TV's priced at £500 mark here on HUKD don't have professional reviews i thought the Panasonic is more than capable of selling it's self without my help.

Vestel No lol heat for the effort.

WRONG not made in turkey and does not have a low quality panel. This was priced at £1200 back in 2015.
Maybe you should bother to read about something or experience it before panning it out of hand for what ever uneducated reasoning behind your statement.Only the low priced Panasonic's are rebagded vestel's and they do poorly in reviews which this certainly does not

Around the screen is a skinny bezel in a gun metal brushed finish, which is 7mm thick around the sides and top of the screen, and is slightly wider at 10mm on the bottom with the Panasonic logo in white at the bottom centre.
The space between each foot is 38-inches, so bear that in mind before purchasing or you might need to fork out for another TV stand at the same time.

3XHDMI 2.0 (which are fully 4K HDCP2.2 ready) and HDMI 2 is ARC (Audio Return Channel) ready.

For me, the Panasonic beats the Sony for two main reasons:

1. It is one inch bigger.

2. It comes in a much bigger box.
Is it true that these have Turkish panels? i saw that somewhere
telly
And i thought i was sad.

With Panasonic these days, it's normally a good bet to say "Vestel" - and be right - without needing to check.

Isn't that the 32 inch Panasonic ?
The all on one solution provided by the Sony Android Tvs has made me dislike anything that is not android, I kind of prefer the fact Showbox and Kodi are all built in the TV instead of another box.
What the motion like on this for football etc ?

Good although the Sony i had was SLIGHTLY better.

Oh Boy are these panels so bright that i decided to plug it in outside and film the results. As the sun was shinning so bright both the Panny and the sony looked like large mirrors dew to the direct sunshine but when i plugged in the Panasonic i was amazed at the results.

Just note there was a lip sink problem while filming as i was streaming from outside the house and my router was in my upstairs bedroom ( my tv never has this problem )

P.S my refurbished TV arrived in perfect condition with a new remote and manual and i would of simply returned it like the other two i had if it had not been up to scratch.

Take note this normally sells for £550 when its in stock on the panasonic refurb website and the price did not drop for 2 months until now so if your interested in getting one then i would advice you get one now as they sold out in 2 days last time.

I think it's the 48 inch one mainly.
Every time I see the "bargain Panasonic" resulting in the comments about 3rd rate Turkish knock-offs, it tends to be the 48"
I think the 700 is just the 680 made for Currys, higher refresh rate and different stand. Not sure on any other differences but £500 is a good price, especially if you can get Panny's usual 5 year warranty.
I'd certainly have a Panasonic, but not be too happy with a refurb. (And NOT AT ALL a Turkish Vestel of course)
Good price, have been very pleased with my CX700. Mainly use it for PC gaming.

(This is not a Vestel)

I use mine as a PC monitor too,i was playing quantum break on my pc and it looked very nice.
If any one is using this for gaming make sure you turn off - INTELLIGENT FRAME CREATION as it adds lag.
Personally i set my Windows 10 desktop resolution to 2560x1440 as there's windows app's with menus's that just don't upscale on any 4K TV well.

Not another vegetable
Good luck when it comes to getting this repaired. -Panasonic warrantees are the worst bar none.
Heat. You can't go wrong with a fully fledged Panasonic and the iTVplayer app is definitely makes it worth it, as you cannot get it on most TVs.

FYI

C300 & C400 are made in Turkey (Vestel)

C500, C600, C700, C800 are made in Czech Republic (Panasonic)

I don't have one but will plug in my PS3 again and see how it runs , but as runs fine with PC games in full HD and 4K so i don't see why it wont run well with a PS4.

This seems to be available online for new for £550 so does that make it not a good deal?

Great deal, wish this deal was on 3 months ago when I got the 50CX680b - £574.

(no 3D/lower refresh rate 200mhz vs 800mhz and central stand rather than two legs on end)

Question 2. Can you make it into a fort?
