Not previously noticed this statement: "If your drive stops working …Not previously noticed this statement: "If your drive stops working Seagate will recover your files at no additional cost for 2 years." No doubt that will carry some interesting t&c.

Thanks for that, worth knowing.

Might come in handy someday.

Thanks

Don;t bother to look for those since this is an old link. The current link is argos.co.uk/pro…672 priced at £119.99 without data recovery.

Amazon does the same price £119.99 WITH data recovery plan (or £109.99 without)

Yeah I'm just about to collect mine today from a locker, price has jumped back up to £109.99
Nothing fascinating. Same price on Amazon
Time Argos 'deals' were put on hold & vetted before going live on HUKD
I bought this from Amazon last month for about £98 IIRC. Use it with my Shield to hold movie files - works flawlessly and very fast. Looks good too
I have bad experiences with Seagate I am not gonna to buy it again they offer no help if something happened and also expensive
Works brilliantly with PS4...thanks op

Do you have any other completely different products you'd like to link to?

I totally agree. ppl try anything to get a few likes. sad really.
It’s comical that this has over 500 degrees and the product does not exist at this price!

Mods please expire.

Inside or outside?
I've just bought it two days ago for about £94 from amazon, so not much of a deal this is.

Pretty good drive, read and write speeds about 135MB/s

Hw2test reported 100MB after 22hours, no faults found.
Whats the limit to ps4 max storage? I was told it 2tb about a year ago.. was i misled or has something changed?

External HDD support came with update 4.50 in March 2017, before that date you had to install the HDD internally. You could only fit a 2tb drive inside as higher capacity drives were not thin enough to fit, hence the max storage was limited by the HDD size not the capacity, which had been 4tb since update 3.50 in summer 2016. You could force a slightly thicker 4tb drive into the bay inside and it would work fine during that time, albeit slightly bending the metal enclosure resulting in a bump if/when you could put the PS4 lid back on. Currently, the PS4 firmware cannot handle a storage partition larger than 8tb, so that's currently the max internally & externally giving a max storage of 16tb for the MacGyver's out there or 10tb for everyone else.

The product does exist at the specified price. Admittedly, only at a handful of locations, but, it does exist in LN11 for example, see here.

I just looked and Tunbridge Wells had it so your comment wasn’t really accurate
Galashiels also has stock. So there are a few about.

What is going on? I can't see that this is available anywhere else for this price (WITH the data recovery service) and there is stock about, albeit not much.
Think I paid about £91 for this on Amazon about a month ago.
Very tempted....
