Leffe Blond is an elegant, smooth and fruity Belgian abbey style beer. It has a spicy aftertaste with a hint of bitter orange.

While this is a perfect aperitif beer, it also tastes delicious with a wide variety of dishes, especially red meat, sweet and sour dishes and white mould cheese, such as Camenbert, Brie, Brillat-Savarin or Saint-Marcellin.     Not sure what they charge normally at Asda but this can be found at £2.50 a bottle without having to multibuy so yes a 25p saving but they are charging nearly £10 for 4 bottles you definitely are not getting one free

    I must have been submitting my B&M deal when you wrote this! It's good to have choice IMO. some will use/prefer Asda (especially if they shop there anywhere) and some will swear by B&M. Some will be happy to buy 4 for a cheaper per bottle price and some will limit themselves to just the 2 and take the slight hit on per bottle price.

    Yes bought a couple of bottles last week for £2.50 from Lidl.

    I know it's a very different beer, but I thought it was worth pointing out that the 500ml bottles of McEwan's Champion Ale Beer (7.3% ABV) are included in the Asda 4 for the price of 3 offer. groceries.asda.com/pro…237 This works out at £1.24 per bottle / £1.42 per pint. I got some today.

    theakstons old peculier and the bottle conditioned shepherd neame 1698 are the best on that Asda deal for me. Last time I had that Champion a few years ago I hated it, think one was a whisky flavour added too. I like dark ales, but the jocks should stick to single malts...

    In my Lidl it's marked up at £3.25 but went through at £2.95

    The Asda offer is for leffe with 6.6% alcohol volume where as the B&M leffe is 4.96% content.
