Been looking to replace my damaged alloys on my bmw, these alloys are from bmw direct ebay shop at a great price of £1600 including tyres!. These retail around £3100+ from dealers so think its a great price. They have some 'delivery' mileage (10 miles) and have 2 year full bmw warranty.

FFS!

3SDM, Rotiform, BBS, CCW.. Google any of these, and you will get a better wheel for less money. And I mean better in every respect, both quality and style.

When will people learn that aftermarket doesn't have to mean Halfords.

Voted hot, I want an awful ride on my car, and tyres that cost £300 a corner....

These never go down particularly well on here...

So there are real human beings who pay about £800 for an alloy wheel, that costs about £20 to make?

I'm impressed. And I'd always thought the BMW was the thinking man's car - not a neanderthal's!

One wonders why. One really, really wonders why.

How is this a deal although anyone who spends this on a set of wheels is a mug that obviously shouldn't be using a money saving site like HUKD. From my experiences I most people who drive BWWs are ponces that think they own the road cold from me.

I cannot believe how many poor and bitter people there is on HDUK.

Voted hot for what its worth...

FFS, there are idiots that drive BMW's there are intelligent people that drive BMW. A badge on a car does not define a person, grow up!

So true Sam, there are good and bad owners of any make of car, there just seems to be a lot of bitter people about nowadays.

Sounds to me that you're bitter and twisted prat. It's a deal with a good saving. Cars worth around £100,000 have gone mega hot on here even though very few can afford them. This site isn't the preserve of the poor, but bargain hunters.

Voted hot, it's a good bargain!

Most BMW drivers could do with spending the money on a set of indicators for their car instead.

You ain't getting hot from me because I'm bitter and twisted

so many bitter jealous people. I'm on my 2nd bmw and use my indicators, have not crashed and I'm courteous. And I am certainly not a pounce. I work in construction, and I like a good, comfortable, safe family car to drive. If you don't like bmw because your jealous, then grow up. If people want genuine bmw parts, then this deal is hot

You must be correct, after all you know so much about the brand you can't even spell it.

Considering a 19" tyre (assuming 235/35 R19 size) is going to be upwards of £160 each if you shop around, £240 each for a wheel isn't bad going. For anyone that doesn't drive an old banger, they may appreciate the cost of a decent or OEM replacement alloy wheel.

I don't own a BMW, not keen on the harsh ride - especially so on one with 19" rubber, but I know that a replacement 19" wheel for my Golf GTD is around £570 + tyre (another £190). Based purely on RRP vs deal cost, common sense dictates that this is a hot deal.

Not sure how someone here thinks these things cost £20 to make, maybe a 14" Halfords cheapy made in India from monkey metal may cost that, but not magnesium alloy wheels that are diamond cut.

This is 8 times what I paid for my last car.

Congratulations on being poor! I'll be sure to say hi next time I get a Macdonals Meal…

So instead of looking at a deal you would rather complain over your perception of a specific car driver, you have issues.
The deal is good as the tyres would normally cost £300 a corner = £1200. So £100 a wheel is a good price!

I'm not poor (I have two other cars). One reason I am not poor is I don't overspend on motoring to look flash.

So you have three POS then? Well done. I also have three cars, one is in my Avatar. I don't car about looking flash but I do enjoy cars and driving. I don't care how much it costs I have more than enough money to pay for them outright. Some people are car people I wonder what hobby you have, if any.

Yeah, a POS Jaguar V8 (the wife insists) and a POS Jeep Cherokee. But I like to drive the POS Nissan Micra 16valve the most.

We had a BMW once, not impressed. it was built like a Ford, with Macpherson strut front suspension.

All cheap cars in the UK that depreciate heavily. Cherokees are a POS anyway, as much as I like the Hemi. Funny how you buy cheap cars as you claim you look after your money but drive an American SUV and a V8 Jag.

I guess some people are mad at how well Beemers are built and hold their value.

They were all cheap when I bought them, with over 100k miles on each. Depreciation is your friend at this point in a vehicle's life. I paid £700 for the Jeep (4 litre petrol, auto, with all the extras). Each was bought for a specific purpose, and I mostly only drive the Micra, which is cheap to run. All cost well under £200 to insure.
