6000K is very cold, unpleasant light. Good for shops or offices but not for home. 2800K -3000k is best and gives warm light.
Had few 6000K bulbs and all have been trashed.

Still is in mine... Now the 'big light' is smart... "Hey Google, turn the big light on"
can't imagine this, bought a 100watt equivalent the other day and it hurts your eyes if you look at it directly lol
Shame they don't sell just a 2 pack

This is 6000k. It is very cold. It will appear very, very blue if you're using 3-4000k lamps currently.
Oh no, cold harsh light. Warm white so much better

Even offices generally only have 4000k, these lamps will be almost clinical at 6000k.

Most of my home uses 6000K(tone selectable), we love it. You are of course entitled to your opinion, I'm happy with my choice. I know many people that have switched to clean(clinical if you wish) lighting. Warm white looks dirty to me, I don't really understand why people want to recreate candle light though to each their own.

They are trying to replace incandescent bulb light . But 6000k is the cool daylight available with flouroscent tubes.
10 000 lumens of 6000K light is a good combination for anyone starting to grow any interesting seeds.

Sun gives even brighter light . You don't have to stare into it . I hate the various lamp shades designed to waste light or people wasting electricity using low efficiency lamps . Bought

Cold in the kitchen and bathroom, plus any utility areas. Warm in the living areas, or places used at night. Works for me anyway!

Wouldn't know where to start on a high st these days. Looked on B&Q, searched 23w bulb but comes up with 9.5w 60w eqiv. At £15/bulb, Nothing like 200w. Don't understand bulbs these days, too old lol.

My dining area is separate so works well for me. My office uses warm though as it's an extension of the living space, and you really can't mix.
Be mindful these are great and they are bright, but my experience that after around 6 months they loose brightness.
Amazon flooded with some low quality bulbs very hard to choose as well known manufacturers are more expensive and offer less brightness in their bulbs.

Luckily amazon CS is great and you can prob claim refund if this happens 6 mo down the line and if sellers is not co-operative.

I have 6000K in the home office as I'm stuck to a screen a lot, takes some getting use to but imo better overall for your eyes.

23w is quite a lot so this is good price for it, I only have 13w and they cover quite large room

Bought these to try. replaced 8w ones which were 100w comparable. Definitely brighter, but not sure yet with coverage, will try once get round in different rooms. Nearly no difference quality wise to my 8w, feels solid. Even dimensions nearly same, but probably have more heatsinks there as are much heavier compared to 8w ones I have. Will see how long will last.
Whilst its lot cooler colour but damn I can clearly see now stuff in the room
