£5 4G sim deal 1GB/250 minutes 1 month Contract - ID Mobile Hidden Deal

Found 9th Jan 2016
Currently you can't find this deal on the ID Mobile website, and all previous version of the deal posted on here are expired, but you can still get it via a hidden deal.

Quidco will still work if you DON'T click the deal button. GO TO ID Mobile via Quidco, then copy/past the link below to add this deal to your basket ;-)

Note: Try it without the affiliate bit first (with it could stop Quidco tracking)-
idmobile.co.uk/buy…723

If that doesn't work, this definitely does (at the moment anyway)-
idmobile.co.uk/buy…den

EDIT: I've done the same thing with the Uswitch 4GB for £10 deal. You should be able to use this link to get quidco via the same steps as this deal.
idmobile.co.uk/buy…den

Took me a while to work out, hope it's useful to some.

Also includes 5000 texts!

why is it hidden?

Not sure exactly, it was available to all last week, now it seems to be available only through Money Supermarket (like the 4GB one is only via USwitch).

Money Supermarket aren't allowed on here, but I was able to strip out all their affiliate stuff to find the hidden deal direct on ID Mobile
i can't finish my order, when i put my card number, it is not finishing, again ask my card, i try debit and credit card too

Hi decanay. I could not see anything on the ID link you gave about how long this offer is available, do you or anyone reading know of an offer expires date, also is there a 7day change your mind period for canceling with this if I change my mind? Thanks

No idea when it will expire, probably wont last long though.

Everything will be the same as with all their other Sim only deals, pretty sure you have 14 days.
Great stuff just ordered for the wife - Quidco tracked

where do you clicked, i dont understand

What I did was
1. go to the deal link to ID mobile link op has given.
2. Then open another page/tab then go to quidco website search for ID Mobile, click on quidco/I'd mobile link via quidco which automatically take's you to ID mobile website you should see 1 item in your basket, go to that then follow the instructions to pay for ID Mobile Sim.
Job done.
If you check your quidco activity it should show information for your ID Mobile transaction!
Hot hot.
Quick question, it's one month contract so after a month does it automatically renews? Sorry dumb question I know but I've had 18-24 months phone or sim contracts so new to 1 month contracts. Thanks

Never had one, but in my understanding, once you wish to cancel, you'll have to wait a full month until they stop charging you. But it might be a full month, so for example, it is mid January and you wish to cancel, so you'll have to wait until end of Feb. If I am wrong, please correct me. Ta.
Good deal but disappointed to find they run on the 3 network which has very poor 4 G coverage in my area compared to the other 3 major networks. Heat anyway for a good deal.

I cant seem to see it in my Quidco activity. I went thru the steps outlined above and have managed to order, but no sign of activity?? How much is the cash back for this deal. Any advise what I should do?
Sidurr ... Good Question. It is a 30 day rolling contract so yes it will renew if you do not cancel it.

Well you will need at least a 3G/UMTS capable handset.

Any UK/EU market phones that are unlocked to all networks.
I believe some Chinese phones may not work (or restricted) if they do not include the '3' UK frequency(s). Please correct if wrong info.

If you were not logged in to your quidco before you clicked through to pay for ID mobile Sim I don't think there's much you can do even if you were signed Into quidco, and you queried it with quidco they will know it's not a genuine tracked transaction, also it was only for £5 cashback, mine has tracked but not that bothered but obviously a bonus if quidco pays out at end of March!

Would get this if only the network allowed tethering
Just found this, im going for LIFE mobile instead, uses EE's network, and allows tethering

Here is a Better deal from e2save

By redemption, which doesn't always work (make that never works for me) otherwise £15.30 per month. But, great if it works out for you

The checkout link where it says £5.50 is a bit misleading, people might not realise they are being charged £15 :-/

That's a good deal, but no 4G. Also Three share part of the EE network services ;-)

Great deal!
I was thinking of using this in the car for Audi connect however I'm unsure as to whether it will work or not as the car can act as a WiFi hotspot which in theory is tethering which is not allowed on this contract? Any ideas?

Great deal!

only 3g though

3/iD uses 2100 MHz for 3G, 1800/800 MHz for 4G and has limited 2G (roaming on EE) 1800 MHz in rural areas. 3 are currently trying to take over O2 who use 900/2100 MHz for 3G, 800/1800 MHz for 4G and 900/1800 MHz for 2G.

What is this company like if you accidently go over your limits, do they clobber you with charges or can you set a buffer?

Similar for me - currently with Virgin Media - they offered me 300mins, Unlim texts, 1Gb data £6 on 30day rolling contract. No 4G though. :-(
I was happy to stay as the iD customer service looks dodgy.
