This hotel lines up free entry to one of Egypt’s biggest waterparks, so you’ve got 50 slides and chutes on tap.
This place comes with unlimited access to Makadi Water World, Egypt's largest waterpark. There are 50 rides to choose from, making this the ultimate aqua spot for water babies, young and old.
The hotel has four pools, a smart restaurant, and a nearby 18-hole golf course. And when it comes to bedrooms, they’re set to be spacious and stylish.

The main restaurant takes the buffet approach, so you can pick and mix international dishes and Egyptian specialities.
Once you’ve worked up an appetite in the waterpark, there’s a snack place serving quick bites like sandwiches, pizza and ice-cream.

Pools
You’ve got the full monty of slides at Makadi Water World, from white-knuckle free-falls to family raft rides. Really little ones have a pirate-themed splash park with mini-slides and a giant tipping bucket.
Waterpark aside, the hotel lines up four pools and a pool bar that dishes up cool-down drinks, al fresco lunch and ice-cream all day.

Food & Drink
The main restaurant takes the buffet approach, so you can pick and mix international dishes and Egyptian specialities.
Once you’ve worked up an appetite in the waterpark, there’s a snack place serving quick bites like sandwiches, pizza and ice-cream.

Entertainment
Shows and folklore nights laid on on the evenings. And there’s a bar in the lobby for late-night cocktails.

Sports & Activities
Golf fans can tee off at the 18-hole course*, which comes with lakes, waterfalls and views of the Red Sea. There’s a driving range, too. The rest of the sports line-up includes volleyball, squash* and tennis courts.
Down at the beach, you can hire snorkelling gear* or sign up for a dive with the scuba school*.

Health & Beauty
There's a spa* with all the essentials, plus you’ll also find a gym.

Facility Summary
The main feature of this resort has to be the waterpark. And when you're finished on the water chutes, you can work out in the gym or try your hand at volleyball. Golfers can also head over to the green. Meals are served up in the buffet restaurant, and you can grab a bite at the pool bar or the eatery inside the waterpark as well.

Dine Around

The Dine Around concept gives you the option to dine once per week at one of the à la carte restaurants around the resort that are also part of the concept. You'll be able to choose from à la carte restaurants at the Iberotel Makadi Beach, Jaz Makadi Oasis, Jaz Makadi Saraya Splash, Steigenberger Makadi and TUI BLUE Makadi Gardens. To take part in the Dine Around concept, you'll need to make a reservation at your hotel's reception one day in advance.

Rooms
There's a warm and inviting feel to the rooms here. They all come with air-conditioning, satellite TV, and a balcony or terrace for that bit of outside space. You can choose a twin or upgrade to a swim-up superior twin room which gets you direct access to a pool. Family rooms are also available which have extra sofa-beds in the lounge area.

This is OK 5*. Doesn't compare to 5* say in some of the middle Eastern destinations but it's good cheap family hotel. Food was ok, not the best. Kids will love the pool.

Also, it's only worth it if it's empty and not packed full of other families. Would ruin experience, or any holiday for that matter. (edited)

Star just refers to hotel amenities remember, not actually how good it is

Been twice, both times very ill. 2nd time we actually sued TUI as several families were very ill. Never again! Very poor hygiene. Good price but I would never do it again. (edited)

This is a lovely hotel. We stayed in September! Only thing that lets it down is the food, if you’re a little fussy you’ll struggle, if you’re adventurous I’m sure you’d enjoy the food to.

What kind of food did they have? We stayed at a Jaz hotel in Hurghada in September and they catered for all tastes

    Bit expensive for 7 nights

Bit expensive? Compared to what? Where in the UK or anywhere with the same quality can you stay for less? Am intrigued :/ . Even a week in a typical horrible UK caravan park cost you more than this. Please share a better deal I love to know
