Expect to pay £6+ each at your local garden centre for a slightly larger version of this fantastic little perennial version of cosmos. Great for chocoholics, this chocolate scented plant is a flowering delight, with an abundance of sensory pleasure and none of the calories! Stunning in the border and equally at home in a container, the dark velvet flowers are a feature in their own right.
5 free plug plants. Just pay p&p of £3.49.

The plug plants are delivered within 28 days so the plants will still establish very quickly this summer. Available online via the Mr Fothergills website so you don't actually need to buy the gardeners world mag and you can also buy using the order hotline.

You need an excuse?

Thanks, was looking for these earlier in a couple of garden centres but they were all sold out.

So I'm a bit thick when it comes to gardening...

Is a perrenial one that will grow back every year, or is that an annual? I'm fed up planting things that die after a few months!

they can last, but I bought one for my mum last year who is a keen gardener and it died.

great price

As perennials they will come back, but it can depend on where you are in the UK. Ooop North where I am it's a good idea to take the root out of the ground once the first frosts kick in and keep these dry before replanting in Spring. Elsewhere you can get away with just leaving them in the ground.

If you are really savvy they are fairly good at producing seeds, but at this price you can treat them like a cheap pack of bedding plants.

Thanks:thumbsup:

thanx

I`m still waiting for my strawberry plants, from the other post that was months ago!!

I was too, till I realised they had cancelled all orders as too many people who wern't entitled to the offer claimed it. You had to re order if you still wanted them, I never saw the email :x

I've had my chocolate plant in a large plant pot for at least 8 years. It's in a fairly sheltered corner but NEVER gets covered in winter and comes back even stronger every year. The scent is amazing.

Top find.

Ordered. good find.

I am a cruel man as the wife is on a diet, when she sniffs these I am going to receive and black eye. lol
