These Clementis' are being sold in B&Q, Homebase, Wheatcrofts all different places like that at £15 each, so you can imagine how big these plants are. Morrison's are doing them at £5!!! I think that is brilliant!! Morrisons have a lot of other flowers extremely cheap for example Petunias, 24 plug plants for £2!! Everywhere else they are like £4+. Amazing prices for plants in my opinion, I would assume this is National as these are the normal prices without any offers!!! They are ready for flowering as there is buds on them

Bought three clematis plants at £1.79 each in Morrisons, Chelmsford today.
£5.49 at Aldi for a really good one - or at least a really good clematis.

£1.79 at Aldi from today - aldi.co.uk/uk/…-15
The smaller clematis are £1.79 as I've bought several myself recently. I saw the £5 clematis today and they are huge plants and well worth the money in my opinion. I've been buying decent size cottage garden plants ie lupins and delphinium at 2 for £3. They had camellia's and ceanothus for £2 each today and they accidently jumped in my basket.

Yes I meant the big one's not the small one's, the small one's yes are £1.79 which is again a good price.
Good deal.

I'm sure there are plenty of HUKD members that have failed miserably to find the clematis so easily.
to the OP...
they're called 'loss leaders'. supermarkets often sell plants/flowers AT BELOW COST PRICE near the front of the shop to entice people in. stats show the majority of people then buy more things. supermarkets make their money back on the other items sold. it's also how they manage to put smaller businesses out of er, business. (smaller businesses not being able to take the risk of such strategies, or offer such an array of goods to hold the customer).

don't get me wrong, hot though.
