Thought this was a cracking deal if you ever get to the cinema.

You can buy two per customer. No booking required; must redeem voucher at box office. It's valid for 2D viewings only.

After you click 'Submit order' and purchase your Groupon, the voucher will be redeemed instantly by Groupon Shop Limited.
Since the Groupon is redeemed instantly, you will not receive the standard Groupon voucher the next day. Instead, Groupon Shop Limited will email you within 2 working days with your own voucher for admission to ODEON.
Print voucher.
Present voucher at box office for admission.

The £5 price is for outside the M25 and it's £6 inside the M25 (never realise poor Londoners got ripped off so much - 'tis actually a bigger saving if you're viewing inside the M25)

Expires 20 June 2012.
Limit 2 per person.
No booking required; must redeem voucher at box office.
Voucher must be presented at time of redemption, on the day of performance, and can only be used once in respect of one admission only.
Not valid for advance ticket purchases.
Not valid for school bookings, corporate or third party bulk ticket purchases.
Valid 7 days a week.
Not valid for ODEON London West End, The Lounge at ODEON Whiteleys, and Leicester Square cinemas.
Valid for 2D film viewings only.
Excludes following screenings: 'The Avengers' before 11 May 2012, 'Men in Black 3' before 8 June 2012, and 'Prometheus' before 15 June 2012.
Valid on option purchased only.
Individual film rating age restrictions apply; must have age relevant valid IDs.
Standard seating only.
Not valid for premiere, club, or gallery seating.
Not valid for IMAX or iSense performances.
Not valid with Orange Wednesday offer or ODEON Premiere Club Film Fan Tuesdays.
Not valid for ticket paid for with ODEON Points.
Voucher does not apply to the purchase of 3D glasses, gift vouchers, ODEON Gift cards, ODEON Premiere Club cards, food, drink, merchandise, or any other ODEON goods or services.

Exactly they know these are big money makers. The grabbing &a$tards dont want to give too much away, £7:95 is waaay too much just to watch a film. And they wonder why people pirate films.

nice find, I love adult cinemas!

Wow. Cinemas here in Belfast charge £2.50/£3 every Tuesday. Given me a new appreciation of my local cinemas.

Also available within the M25 for £6

Why not just ask your mate for an o2 priority code?

I took my 2 kids to see avengers on tues it cost 32 quid just to see it and there was only about 15 people in there! And they wonder why people would rather pay £2 for a pirate copy!

Ha ha, when I read the title, I thought Adult Cinema Ticket was a ticket to an 'Adult Cinema'

Great, only trouble is they turned the Odean into a nightclub where I live!!

Great deal if you want to go back to the 1990's. Odeon (at least near me) are horrific and have been vastly overshadowed by their competitors who have invested in both the cinema experience and the technology itself.

Great deal, but be warned...I bought 2 tickets as soon as the deal became active around mid last week and I got a confirmation saying that I'd only ordered 1 ticket. I called Groupon to get it sorted and they told me that in fact 2 had been ordered. 2 days later I got an e-mail containing the vouchers and surprise, surprise, only 1 ticket. 3 phone calls and a week later I'm still waiting for my second ticket :-(

Seems like they're having operational problems on this one. Not the first time with Groupon.

Why isn't groupon in the title?

I guess I must be lucky, normal price at my cineworld is only £4.50 anyway and as I only go on a wednesday its £2.25 each.

(Saw Battleship last night, fun film!)

Bossworld

Why isn't groupon in the title?

Coz moderator posted deal and expired previous (1 week old) deal. Not fair at all...

you have gotta be kidding me............seriously?

My local Odeon is right next to a nightclub. Half way through a film you can hear the music through the walls! Haven't been there for years!

if you ask me £5 is still a couple of quid more than a cinema ticket should be.
£8 usual price? no wonder the cinema is dying a slow death, the last time I went the hall was less than half full.

Cineworld are a lot cheaper than Odeon for a reason, their screens aren't digital. It's like the price difference between blu-ray and dvd (although probably not a decent analogy anymore as blu-ray tends to costs the same or less now).

Almost every Cineworld is fully digital now. Some have 35mm screens left. (personally, I think it's a shame they're not all keeping at least one 35mm screen, as it's much more like watching a "film".)

Agreed. This is a good deal (voted hot) but Cineworld, Empire, Showcase and Vue are all better chains, IMO.

And I thought £5 was expensive!

That's a bit odd

Good deal in the context of saving 35% (ish) but Odeon is massively overpriced anyway so this brings it down to just what it should be...

I bought these last week and they were great for Salmon fishing in the Yemin on Saturday which we were going to see anyway - saved £6 on 2 tickets. Never had a problem with Groupon.

shame the Odean in Birmingham City Centre is a pile of horse doo doo

I'm afraid I'm not voting either way, most large companies do a rewards scheme, I know mine does and so does my other half. These are available all the time, and only £5 within the M25. With no date or film restrictions. Also, if your near an Empire cinema, you wont need me to tell you why Tuesdays & Thursdays are good.

Had £5 free credit sitting in my account, got two for £5. Not bad!

To anyone who gets 2 tickets - just make sure that you print out both vouchers and barcodes. They send 2 emails one for each barcode and sometimes they come apart so wait a bit until you have both.

I only printed one of the barcodes off not realising the above and when I got to the odeon they couldn't do anything for me as they require both printouts - I eventually found and showed them the emails on my iphone but they stated that part of the groupon deal is that they are required by groupon to take in/use printed vouchers only.

Just thought I would save anyone else from the same problem

The only reason I visit Odeon where I live (Uxbridge) is for the IMAX … The only reason I visit Odeon where I live (Uxbridge) is for the IMAX screen. Paid £12 to see Avengers last night which was bloody amazing! Would never pay the £9.60 (standard seating) that they ask for a regular film when it's £4.60 at an Empire for Premium, just 10 minutes down the motorway.

I'm in Ux too Moka, if you go to IMAX on an Orange Wednesday its only £17 for 2...

Also saw Avengers last night but at Vue Westfield Stratford - it was £15.15 per person !!

£10 - Basic standard ticket
£3.15 - Supplement for the 3D film
£2 - Supplement as it was in a VuExtreme screen

I didn't buy their popcorn.

Far too expensive for a trip to the cinema - for that sort of money I expect to be given a copy of the film on DVD to take home with me afterwards.

Odeon at Silverlink and Metro center newcastle do a standard ticket for £4.40 all day on a tuesday.
