£5 + Free Revolut Card(new customer only) @ Sweatcoin for 5 sweatcoins

Found 10th Aug
I've used sweatcoin since the free now tv offer was advertised on here as a deal and have kept the sweatcoin app ever since. I've built up a fair few coins without even realising and saw this offer today. Basically £5 for free. What's better than free money

Firstly you will need to download the sweatcoin app. (New users usually get a couple of free sweatcoins to start with anyway). Then walk to earn sweatcoins, 1000 steps (outside) = 1Sc

Buy the offer with 5 sweatcoins to get £5 free on a Revolut card(new Revolut customers only) . Simples

I know a lot on here will already have sweatcoin and or Revolut but this seemed too good not to give a heads up about.

Oh and offers are usually on there for 2-4 days(or until they run out of codes) so be quick

And why is that? You can help if you can be a bit more specific. Thanks!
Because It never worked for me...

It seems to be a good find OP. £5 of free money for little hassle. However, Revolut is going downhill for the past few days as many people are posting their reviews on Trustpilot that their accounts are getting blocked for no apparent reason. I would not want to risk losing any money. On the other hand, Sweatcoin in general seems to be an OK app. Good for making you walk every day. Not specifically to get your hands on prizes and offers as none of them have so far appealed to me apart from the Now TV one. But for assisting one to be in good health by doing some physical activity such as walking.
Appears to just be a link and no code as such. Unless I've missed something?

Similar to paypal with the added bonus of having a prepaid debit card. The card can be either physical or virtual (all necessary card details on your phone) and is great for online purchases from perhaps-less-than-trustworthy sites as the cards can be cancelled after one transaction.

Used Revolut to pay in foreign currency yesterday and today. No problems so far.
I've had a Revolut card for a couple of years and found it very handy for locking in good FX rates before I go on holiday. Excellent exchange rates and no commission. More details here: moneysavingexpert.com/cre…ds/
Free money!

Thanks
It's saying I have to top up £10 to order a card.

Physical card costs £10 including delivery
I've just tried to order my physical card. It is indeed a free card and also should be free delivery. I have been on chat with Revolut as it was trying to charge me 4.99 for delivery. They said to order the card and they then refunded me the delivery charge. I just sent them a couple of screenshots of the offer on sweatcoin and the delivery charge on my Revolut account.
I asked about the topup and its a verification that Revolut use to issue a card so its still your money just in your Revolut account.

My Revolut card is a lifesaver and because of their accurate exchange rates, it has allowed me to turn pounds into dollars very expediently.

How do u speak to a real person

I went onto online chat and type in "live agent" it was a bit of a wait but I got through eventually.
Been wanting to try one of these cards. Free £5 will give it a go.
I love my Revolut card and have had no problems with it so far (touch wood). I use it to pay for a subscription I have in a foreign currency and so avoid any charges by using my bank or PayPal. I've also used it without any issue when travelling abroad. The only negative is that you can only withdraw a maximum of £200 per calendar month before they apply charges, which is not a lot of spending money on a two week holiday. However, you can use it to pay for goods as you would a current account card and it doesn't attract any charges.
Awful recent reviews on Google Play for the Revolut app, lots of them referencing an app called Monzo which is allegedly the big competitor so hard to tell if they're part of a paid smear campaign or real, any Revolut users here that can comment on their experience?
Also both on Google Play and Trustpilot there are lots of positive reviews which look blatantly fake.
Kind of beats the point of making a burn account if the company you get it from is dodgy too...

Monzo & Starling - both are full fledged bank account without any physical branches. 85K of your money is protected as other high street banks.

Revolut is also FCA Regulated ( as per thier FAQ) and says they keep the deposits in Lloyds and Barclays. But its not a bank.

For all three, there are threads in HUKD with 1000+ votes... there is lot of usefull info there... also check MSE forums.
I just sent myself a free fiver! It's actually free money! HUKD at its purest Thanks so much, this was no stress at all and it seems to have worked perfectly. Get that heat!

My understanding is that Monzo is better to use in the UK and Revolut better to use abroad. As a result, I am using Starling, for both UK and abroad:). There are some advantages Revolut has, but others have their own advantages and what I need it for, Starling does the best.

So ypu don't have to download the sweatcoin app. Not botheted about tje fiver but a free revolute card can be good. Can you withdraw from the UK. Actually 2% over £200 is not bad at all.

Also is this a pre paid card? Dn't want any new bank accounts or cards?

Also lots of people saying payments are declined. Thats one reason why I like cash abroad. But the rates here might beat the best exchange rates from foreign exchange bureaux even with a 2% charge.

My card charges 2.75% and thats on the whole amount and for spending. With this you can pay for the hotel by card then use currency out.

Also is the 2% on cash from the last withdrawal or every calender month?

What worries me is how does revolute actually make any money? From the delivery charge? Surely this will be pulled or charges raised. Even though still cheaper than my bank.
Not working for me. Registration not yielding a text message. Tried multiple times. Guess they’ve turned it off or are overloaded
I think Revolut is fantastic great rates and app also if your buying or already have a holiday home in spain you can now set up direct debits with them avoiding the rip off Spanish bank charges.

Agreed
I just wasted 5 coins on this to get no text message, what a scam
I tried a couple of times for the text message and nothing happened so downloaded the app from the website, set it up with the same mobile number that I used for the non existent text and there was the £5 in the account.

The only problem I cannot order a real or virtual card unless I top up £10. Something wrong with the terms of the offer as it says you can order a card

i topped up the £10 now it wants £4.99 delivery or send them photo ID for a virtual card, a lot of hassle for a £5 wish I hadn’t bothered.

the text never arrives, I downloaded the app from the store, inputted the same phone number and it works, but you have to send them a picture of your passport, driving licence or National ID card and a selfie, then top up £10, then pay £4.99 for delivery of a real card. Delivery supposed to be free but no option and no support. I tried live chat at 4pm still no reply.

As I mentioned earlier in the comments, if you screenshot the offer and go onto Revolut online chat. Type in "live agent" to speak to a person. It may take a while but the app will send you a notification when an agent has been assigned to you(you don't need to sit and wait with the app open). They will ask you to select the standard delivery option (4.99) and they will then refund it. I've posted a screenshot in the comments above with the chat conversation I had with them so use that if you need to but it definitely is a free card and free delivery.

Not if you just use the bank transfer function to send yourself the money. I didn't bother getting a card - but from the comments it looks as though they'll charge you a fiver for delivery unless you start a live chat in order to get it refunded. However, if you do do that, it might be wise to get the offer first so you can screenshot it as proof that you're entitled to a refund of the delivery charge...

Blimey. Alright, maybe the free card isn't worth the hassle.

I requested a live chat at 4pm, still waiting
I finally got a reply this morning, they said the £5 credit was to pay for the physical card making it Free. Just not going to bother and just stick with the virtual one.
