Boots are offering professional eye tests for only £5 (usually £20 so a 75% saving).

You can also then treat yourself to 2 pairs of glasses from £79. Simply spend £79 or more on a complete pair of glasses at Boots Opticians and receive a second pair of glasses to the same value or less for free. Offer includes Boots glasses, Boots prescription sunglasses or Kyusu designer glasses.

Hopefully this wont cold like the rest of my deals today. Heres hoping

What is the difference between an ordinary eye test and a PROFESSIONAL one?

D&A are offering the same £5 deal BTW and you can often get FREE eye test vouchers.

And if you have a TESCO eye test centre near you, they are free anyway.

This deal is COLD from me.

What are they offering in the way of glasses? Are they offering better deals than 2 pairs for £79?

I would think that a non-professional test would involve various size jam jars, a laser pointer and the front page of the Star pinned up on the wall.

Praps not but anyone with any intelligence would get eyes tested (Free or £5), take the prescription and pay £15 - £25 online for a pair of glasses.
