Okay - so we all know the deal with 3 for £1 - BUT rarely do you get a gift worth this much as well!

Get Biotherm Homme AQUAPOWER free when you take the 3 for £1 offer! I checked and the average price is indeed £20ish!

GREAT DEAL IMHO!

EDIT - Original deal expired but now:
GQ Deal = 5 for £5 + gift - ONLY 99 LEFT AT TIME OF EDIT

Enjoy...

lol - couldnt help asking. wasnt really moaning. Just wondered

None that I know of give a gift... well, apart from Computer Shopper - used to give a free toolkit that wasnt at all great...

can it be cancelled after 3 issues?

yep. phone and cancel when you recieve your 2nd issue. they still send you 3rd iss

Don't forget Qudico - they used to give £4.50 per subscription (I think only 3 per month or something) but it's now 15% off for new subscribers ... still it's better than nothing

I went to look at this deal but got sidetracked! 5 Issues of GQ for £5 with free gift of a Biotherm Homme programme containing a 50ml anti-dullness moisturiser, 40ml detoxifying cleanser and 30ml exfoliating clarifying lotion.
Done deal (with Quidco of course!)

Just ordered the GQ subscribtion, 5 magazines per year with all the mentioned biotherm stuff...
Now does anyone have any advice as to when / how I can cancel it??
Thanks

Cancel the DD once your first issue arrives - and call them after the 33d. Or 2nd with this deal.

Planned to post the GQ deal too - but didnt get round to it!

The DD should show up in your online banking (if your online banking is as thorough as mine with HSBC) on a Standing Order/Direct Debit list and cancelling it should be just a mouse click away, don't even have to bother phoning.

Cheers guys, iv just signed up for the mens fitness deal aswell as the GQ.

And don't forget your 15% Quidco!!

Thanks

There is also a travel mag with some shampoo and conditioner worth £19.58 - 5 fotr £5 - here:

magazine-group.co.uk/mag…ler

£1.20 quidco tracked for 3 subscriptions (X-Box mag/GQ/Mens Fitness - £9)

Will keep me reading a lot for a while!

What I really like it it tells you how many of the gift are left! 119 of the GQ ones left. Lets see how this deal reduces that count

Cheers for the info

sorry but I dont see anything said about the 3 issue being free trial?
it only says "3 issues for £1 followed by £19.95 every 6 issues." They can refuse to cancel subscription cant they?

also in TnC:

Such behaviour would include (but is not restricted to) repeated cancellations of direct debit offers and repeated cancellation of subscriptions before expiry of the full term. Where does it tell you how many gifts are left. I've just ordered the Mens Fitness but it didnt mention anywhere about the free gift apart from on the first page where it described the magazine

If you pay via credit card, do they take the full whack off the card or charge per magazine?

think ill have me some of that nice find

Anyone know how long it takes for the free gift to arrive? Do they send it to the billing address or delivery address?

no gifts mentioned on mens health, but bagged the GQ one with free gift, 5 issues for £1 each is cracking price, usually end up buyin it now and again for £4 a pop!

Great deals! I bought the mens health magazine subscription for £3 the other week, it came with a £50 worth FCUK set that had hair wax, shower gel, deodrant, antipersperant stick, moisturiser, and face exfoliator! All large sizes too! I canceled it and they didn't even charge me for £3! haha

I save the page for Men Fitness mag with free gift, will use that if they don't send the gift as no note to say while stock last.

Only the GQ mag had a note to say stock level, I bought this too.

Will cancel DD as soon as i see it on my online banking Heat

thanks

That is very naughty, they usually take the money and then send you the magazine. So if they take the correct procedure you will not get the magazine. Or on the other hand, they will charge the mag sub to the account no you put in.

They'll do security checks on your bank before sending anything, the only reason I got the gift free was because I canceled it the moment they set the direct debit up and before they charged me. I canceled because I thought the free gift was only sent after 12months of subscription (there t&c's are confusing!) yet they still sent the gift soon after the magazines and never charged.

So if you cancel the DD, there is no way they can just start another one up and charge you? I don't want them on my back for the next year with their DD's pinging my account.

When I signed up to this sort of offer with Mens Fitness and had a box of free protein bars, I never received the bars...

I signed up before when they promised the free gift. Several months later I got some cheap tat with a note saying they'd run out of the promised free gift.

if you cancel the DD after the first £1 comes out can they ****** your credit record?

no, because there is no credit agreement.

Cancelling DD is absolutely fine, they cannot charge you once you cancelled it after the initial payment.

I always done it with mobile contract from cpw group as they always add on mobile insurance after 3 months.

I have taken screenshot of the webpages of these offers, so if they don't send the gifts i'll be on their case. I suggest others to save the webpages too.

thnks, voted hot and ordered a subscripttion
