5 men's shirts for £90 at TM Lewin = £18 per shirt (£16.74 after Quidco)

TM Lewin are running a "5 shirts for £100" promotion at the moment. However, use the promo code TMPCJE and you get an extra 10% off. If you then chuck in 7% Quidco, you're looking at only £16.74 per shirt.

I have bought umpteen shirts from TM Lewin in the past and have never had cause to complain - they are great quality. They also have a 3 month no quibble return policy, whereby you can return shirts by freepost or to one of their stores. If your order arrives and you don't like some of the shirts, they are usually happy to allow you to do an instore exchange or get a part refund on your order, meaning that even if you only keep one shirt out of the five, you will still only pay £18.

I should add that although Quidco is supposed to track at 7% if you use a voucher, I have sometimes had it track at the full rate of 10%.

Maybe I cant see it but its 5 for £100 and 3 for £90. To get the 5 for £90 you need to use the code and the title is a bit misleading. Heat anyway for a good deal.

You can easily and legitimately get 5 shirts for £90, if you can muster the enthusiasm to read the post and find out how to do so. There are no tricks or cons involved, so how on earth is the title misleading?

Not saying there are any tricks or cons but the site says 5 for £100 and you have to put the code in to get them at £90, just might be clearer for some people who dont read the entire post to see this in the title.

I don't think its misleading in anyway. You can get 5 shirts for £90 and all you have to do is enter a code. There are many deals like this on here. Good deal OP. Heat added

good price. i've found TM lewin to be cheap and cheerful but don't expect them to last too long

maybe it's my sharp, pointy elbows which cause the rips...!

couldn't disagree more. i have these shirts and wear for my 9-5. had them for months and still look crisp and new. very good deal... however, don't rush into this if not essential, TM Lewin almost always have sales on similar to this.

super deal all the same.

£75 for a shirt - orignal price. Isn't it a too much hype ?

5 for £100 is def a good deal. But I think it is all marketing to scale up prices so high to show more than 60% off to fool customers.

Agreed..... Save your money and buy the £15ish ones from Tesco, Better quality.

The likes of "these" quality rip off merchants is a joke..... RRP £85 etc

You try finding the variety of fits (sleeve length, neck size, tailoring) in Tesco that you can find at TM Lewin.

With Tesco, you get S/M/L or if you're lucky, neck size. No choice re. chest fit and sleeve length so for anyone who wants their shirt to look like it hasn't just been grabbed off the shelves at Tesco, this is a far better bet for an almost identical price.

The difference between Lewin and Tesco shirts is the fit rather than the quality. Id also be surprised if Tesco sold double cuff shirts without a pocket for less than £18.

These shirts fit well, the Francombes are a very slim fit which is hard to match in any other brand sadly they are only 3 for 90, not 5 for 100) but the quality is befitting of their lower price. Not to say they are low quality just that their lifespan wont be as long as more expensive brands.

I ordered a few months ago and found the shirts to be shabby looking and poor quality despite the modern Jermyn Street colours etc, the trouble is 100% cotton wrinkles too easy, is a nightmare to iron and by noon it looks like you have been rolling around in bed!
Its hard to find good quality nowadays, even M&S arent as good as they used to be but I think shirts need a bit of Polyester, but these are overpriced.

I always buy TM-Lewin shirts, never had any problem with them, they always outlast my Tesco/Next/M&S in terms of quality. They run rings around them in terms of fit. I always go for the Windsor or St James as I like the cut away collar. Wash em at 30deg and they'll always look new.

The comments are from 2006 !!
I am sure they have changed a lot since then !!

Cold, shirts are cheaper in Primark, and anyone who pays more than £1 a shirt is a MADMAN.

Or something.

These standard, need to be ironed, shirts aren't easy to iron wrinkle free and do crease easily. Hence I've not worn too much, the non iron ones are great, a good price and easy to look after, just a shame there isn't a bigger range of the non cuff link ones.

Just bought 10 shirts..
Hope I am able to return the ones that I dont like !!...
otherwise might have to buy a new wardrobe

Cannot believe that people are bad-mouthing this deal?!

Ok, the shirts aren't the best quality that you can buy, but they're certainly far from the worst and at £18 a pop for a 100% cotton, double cuff shirt with cut away collar in a wide range of sizes, including delivery, I'm amazed that anyone is complaining!

OP, have some heat.

Totally agree with above. This is scorching hot.. for this price
People who are comparing this with Primark don't know what they are talking about and are just trolling around...

Done!

Thanks for the update folks -more than needs be.

I have bought a lot of these shirts and both arguements are right.
If you order 3 of the same price 1 is brilliant, 1 is good and one is average. There doesnt seem to be any way of knowing which is which without ordering and seeing (or going into the shop - where they never have your sizes)
I now order double the quantity I want and then send half back. Just ordered 11 from the website so thanks to OP but of the 11 I will probably keep 4 or 5.
All are made very well but the quality of material used varies so much by shirt. Luckily online buying laws mean this process is very simple and I dont mind paying to send items back as the ones I keep are fantastic shirts.

I use the "premium" cotton shirts (a slight sheen to it and the bottom is 'striped') which are very comfortable and look great.

But I have gone through 5 shirts with ripped elbows this year alone, and now use a keyboard rest to hold my elbows.

No shirt is resistant to point elbows and desk friction.

Totally with you on this.. its a great deal

love their shirts, just ordered 5, thanks

Stocked up. Thanks, OP.

5 for me - thanks

Any idea what these are like to iron? The non iron ones are 3 for £90. Got one shirt 100% and it is a nightmare!

I have had various shirt manufacturers (Pink, Hawes, Charles Tyrwhitt, Moss, Valentino and so on)
TM Lewin makes excellent shirts. They fit well and have a very good choice of shirt designs.
Its a good deal!!

Great shirts, terrific value.

great price. i love tm shirts. you may find similar shirts in tesco but not same quality or designs. but cant seem to get the sizes

bought 5 shirts.

HOT.
